She steps from the waves
hips, sway
Honey dip licks spray as shes born from the bay

Hair,
flows to her knees as it blows in the breeze and her eyes are as green as the leaves on the trees

She laughs,
like a rose
and glows pure sex from her head to her toes

a wink from her eye could kill any mortal man and her lips are perfect blossoms during autum in japan

Just fixed my second cab. Winner.

Matamp on order. Winner.

About to wire my new pedalboard setup together. Winner.

I have a copious amount of boutique fudge. Today is kind to me :)

Hey Gaslight, wherever the hell you are. I was on ACA for the story about Santa. Footage from two years ago with me sporting bleached blonde hair prior to my dyeing pink for schoolies. I want royalties.

Efrim 11-12-2009 09:12 AM

I have a problem. I just built yet another bike.

BenJammin 11-12-2009 10:09 AM

Goddamnit, I keep missing you on here, Jesse.

Nice. I need to build me a pedalboard. I'm hoping to take some time today to do it. I currently only use two pedals and a wireless, but it'd be nice to have it all set up and ready to go for the stage.

What kind of pedalboard do you use?
please don't tell me you are planning on playing a show instrumentally. or worse yet, with your bassist singing again.
We're definitely doing it with the bassist singing. Thanks for the interest.
As I said before, it's nice when the person who's singing actually knows the songs and can sing them all the way through, so it was a pretty obvious choice.

Spaceman Spiff 11-12-2009 11:44 AM

Holy crap this performance is amazing. So much emotion. Makes me shiver like mad.

A pedalboard is essential for stage use even if you only use 2 pedals IMO. Just neatens things up and speeds things up. I used to use a Diago Tourman, but I've just downsized and bought a Pedaltrain 2. Quite liking it so far. Stuck things down and wired it up while my bandmates were packing up for the gig tonight, and it was ready before they had finished and worked perfectly when we got there :)

Convectuoso 11-12-2009 07:09 PM

Yeah I only use two pedals at the most and no pedal board. But if I was gigging regularly (or at all) I would definitely get a board.

BenJammin 11-12-2009 07:37 PM

I have an RC-50 and an ME-50B... a pedal board is totally unnecessary.

I'm thinking about just using a piece of plywood and some duct-tape...at least for the time being.

how do you like that me-50b?

tomtom 11-13-2009 04:16 AM

hey sputnik, what's crackin?

BenJammin 11-13-2009 07:05 AM
how do you like that me-50b?
Eh, it's okay. It's pretty generic sounding. I can't get a good fuzz out of it. The reverb and chorus is nice, and I've tweaked a few noisy/ambient sounds out of it, but that's about it. I'll prolly sell it off for some individual pedals at a later date, when I have money.

fatbandit 11-13-2009 08:29 AM

I'd still put those two multis on a pedalboard just so I don't have to set up the power supplies/cable them together every gig :p

BenJammin 11-13-2009 08:36 AM

Meh. It's really not a big deal. The cable running between them is maybe only a foot long. I'll deal with it. :p

I only use them in one of my bands, anyway.

fatbandit 11-13-2009 08:56 AM

each to their own :)

Spaceman Spiff 11-13-2009 11:56 AM

My god that thread is ridiculous.

FunkMetalBass 11-13-2009 12:00 PM

The one about finding the bassist?

I know.

The guy was making some ridiculous arguments, I had to leave it.

We get to play the MetalStock festival tomorrow....sweet!

Mostly. I just love egging people on.

Spaceman Spiff 11-13-2009 12:24 PM

That's cool.

November 27th we're playing this gangster venue with a lot of history.

Besides smaller bands that come around here on tour that play it all the time, huge acts like the Rolling Stones have played there. Not that I like them, but it's still kind of cool.
