I don't know what everyone sees in skim, personally. It tastes so much like it's a poor impression of milk rather than a variety of the same thing.
I've heard that people feel the same about 2% though, so I don't really know what the deal is. I guess I'm just picky. :p
its just how much fat is in the milk. fat content does affect the taste. |

I also make a killer Korean hamburger that doesn't require you to buy the extra lean ground beef. It's a lot worse for your physique, but your stomach thanks you anyway, as do your tastebuds. |

I tend to come into contact with ground beef most when I'm making Amexican food like tacos or burritos. Less lean rarely has much of an effect on that, at least that I can taste, as all the fat is drained from the pan anyway. |

It's so thick as to be solid.. not a nice texture, and the taste is rather milky. That said, I grew up with 2% and gradually went to skim, so it's probably just conditioning. |

Man, that's so weird. I've never ever thought 2% tasted that way. I always thought whole milk left too much behind after the swallow, perhaps, but never with 2%. It just glides down, quite nice when it's heavily refrigerated on a hot day. Few things more refreshing for me than that, at least at first (as milk isn't technically a thirst-quencher however nice it may feel). EDIT: I saw "Wedding Crashers" for the first time today. Damn fine film, very funny. Vince Vaughan's lady is messed up, big time. |
The time when i drink milk the most is when im sick...I dunno, it makes me feel better.
3% for me is way too creamy. |
EDIT: I saw "Wedding Crashers" for the first time today. Damn fine film, very funny. Vince Vaughan's lady is messed up, big time.
Yeah I saw that movie awhile ago. Yes, that lady was messed. So was that gay guy.
Milk is gross. |
I drink milk when I eat cookies, that's it. And it has to be 2%

 Irony never ceases to amaze me. Whenever I'm watching a popcorn flick, someone else is watching a really artistic movie, and vice versa. |
Did you know out of fat, carbs and protein, FAT is the least filling.
|
No I didn't know that..
I drink milk when I eat cookies, that's it. And it has to be 2%
You are soo metal now. |

I think that was the best movie of last year. I like 1% milk the best because IMO it goes best with cereal. |
Is he metal? Whenever I talk about what I like to do in my free time, I don't feel metal at all. There just doesn't seem to be anything tr00 about loving to lay on the couch with a really soft blanket and a cat on my lap while drinking tea, but who decides these things anyway!? I guess it's because I've never associated metalheads with being cat people, and I love cats. I'm so feminine in many ways. :( Like this weekend at work - the woman in the coffee stand was showing me the herbal tea she had and pointed one out in particular. The "Passion" flavor smelled luxurious, and I bet it tasted great. I definitely need to get some.
NP: Crown of Horns, but I really need to go to sleep |
I got corn pops cereal today. But I still think milk is gross.

Why, what did you watch? :p That gay guy in the movie annoyed me because it implied that gay people don't actually pay attention to whether or not someone is gay when they target them for advances, which is silly: a gay person would probably be as unwilling to date a straight person of the same gender as a straight person would be to date a gay one. I liked him better as just a hopelessly socially challenged "artist." The movie was plenty funny without that other element to it.
Is he metal? Sunset Boulevard. Aside from Double Indemnity, perhaps Billy Wilder's most classic film. |

Haha, wow. Apparently Alex's artometer is running on an opposite tack from mine. |
Are you on Vicodin or something? :p
Effexor, actually. I guess at heart I'm not a tr00 hxc death metaller at all. :p |
Random thought: I wonder if a frantic mother somewhere, desperate to deny or change her child's homosexuality, has ever deliberately found a gay person who is nevertheless of the opposite gender, in the hopes that they will "be gay together." :p It strikes me as a logical step for someone like that to take, given parental illogic when attempting to modify a characteristic they have no control over or desire for in their children.
Maybe I need to go to bed too. |

Too bad you didn't catch me last Saturday. I was watching Dr. No. Tomorrow The Untouchables are on my list followed by Dial M for Murder. |
I think that was the best movie of last year.

I love Double Indemnity, despite how dated it is. I just love how he calls everyone babe. |
Full fat milk is all I drink.
People are too worried about fats, proteins and carbohydrates in foods. They're all necessary, guys. 40 Year Old Virgin was great, much better than Wedding Crashers. |
40 Year Old Virgin was great, much better than Wedding Crashers.
agrees. Steve Carrell is god. |
I never drink full fat milk, or non-diet soft drinks(except Irn Bru)
I can't taste the difference, so why not take the healthier option? NP-Diecide- scars of the crucifix. |

However, I will enjoy the knowledge that my cell membranes will not fall apart due to a lack of cholesterol. And I don't drink soft drink, period. |
Less fatty I suppose...
I get enough fat from the meat pies I eat. I bow to your avatar Jason. It is Godly. I drink a hell of alot of Pineapple juice and Irn Bru, that's about it. |
