Finished bee stencil. I'm pleased with it.

asdf 11-28-2007 04:31 PM

Thanks! I appreciate that from someone who has, in the past, told me to commit suicide.

Flagjacket 11-28-2007 08:53 PM

well yeah but for girls you have to say "bitch" or "butch woman" or something

asdf 11-28-2007 11:01 PM

I accept tough guy.

Butch woman? Seriously?

Ghostfire3 11-29-2007 12:40 AM

You just used an excessive amount of exclamation points in your last four posts. Please refrain from doing so again.

Bukowski 11-29-2007 12:41 PM

Don't take it to heart now, Sanjur0!!!

Bukowski 11-29-2007 12:55 PM

I'm sure glad, for a sec there I thought that was some pre-pubescent outburst at GhostFire3! But Sanjur0 controls his emotions! He is not influenced by anyone else!
No thanks, GhostFire3! Please refrain from any further outbursts of sheer f'aggotry in my Punk forum again, queer! :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:
Haha, I knew I would get a response like this from you.

I was just giving you some shit.

Bukowski 11-29-2007 03:10 PM

hahaha nice one, mr. predictable!

Flagjacket 11-29-2007 04:39 PM

Someone other than me or Nick is e-talking shit? Did everyone decide to stop being gay?

Bukowski 11-29-2007 06:45 PM

"submitting to my undenying wrath"

haha c'mon now Nick, we're not playing some fantasy RPG here! Quit the nerd talk, remove the cum from yr eyes...and THINK! Was I complimenting you, Sanjur0? Was I really? Sit in the corner and think about that for a while. Draw the blinds, draw some conclusions. You can do it Nick! I believe in you :thumb:

I ordered in a 2 1/4" button maker, but just couldn't pay $40 for a circle cutter.

Anyone have any tips on how to make a 2 1/4" circle cutter? I've got some really basic plans, but I'm sure it won't work out as well as I'm imagining it.

mullets suk 12-10-2007 02:27 PM

best thing i could think of is take an x-acto knife and some sort of arm on a "turn table" think ofa way a record player works. if u make the arm stiff you'll get an exact cut everytime. How to make this...i dont know.

o and im going to make an upright bass in the spring, when i get done ill post pics.

asdf 12-10-2007 03:33 PM

$40 for circle cutter? that's ridiculous, it should come with the button maker. Then again, my button maker is pretty cheap all together.

Anarcho Poser 12-10-2007 03:56 PM

fix an x-acto blade on a compass

Win A Rabbit 12-10-2007 04:15 PM

The thing about compasses, though, is would't they leave a little dent in the middle of the image? Would it be visible when put together?

Ephemeral 12-10-2007 06:05 PM

cut them out with your teeth. that is true diy panx

plebeian scum 12-12-2007 12:25 AM

you don't need a circle cutter. just cut it out with scissors; as long as it's somewhat close to the line it won't matter, since the button maker wraps a certain margin of the paper circle around to the back of the button.

I've always had bad experiences with die cutters anyways - generally I'd say they're not worth the trouble.

Win A Rabbit 12-16-2007 11:40 PM

Button maker should arrive on tuesday.

And I just found out today that my mom has a circle cutter. Problem solved. Thank god for scrapbooking moms.

I've got a bunch of designs ready to go.

Thanks 12-18-2007 04:05 PM

I tried this on another punky wunky forum, and got screwed. But does anyone here want to make me some 1'' buttons for less than they charge on most websites?

Flagjacket 12-18-2007 04:35 PM

Yeah paypal me 78 dollars

asdf 12-18-2007 04:49 PM

Alex I think I already told you this but my button maker only makes buttons that are an inch and a quarter.

However, since I'm home I now have a printer with ink and if that's not a problem I might be able to help. As long as my button maker isn't messing up like it was at school.

How many do you need?

asdf 12-29-2007 03:58 AM

My dad gave me a belt he bought used and then realized it didn't fit him. It didn't fit me either (one ridiculously small belt), so I took the buckle off and put it on an old bike inner tube.

Now I have two belts.

DemonicRubberDucky 12-31-2007 07:39 PM

I made these. I little crappy, but not bad for my first three tries, IMO. My camera has a knack for needing crappy lighting.

I need some ideas on what to do with fried marbles, craft-wise.

I'm doing a craft night at my work this month, and would like to do something with fried marbles, but can't think of anything to do with them.

Any ideas?

Or any ideas on other crafts I could do?
In the past I've done duct tape wallets, vinyl bowls, and vinyl clocks. Things that 12-17 year olds can/would want to do without too much trouble.

AndreTheHyena 01-04-2008 02:33 AM

What the **** is a fried marble?

Win A Rabbit 01-04-2008 01:51 PM

you heat up marbles in the oven for 20 minutes at 500f, and then drop them in ice cold water, and the insides crack but the outside still holds.

like that.
