I'm pretty sure Friedman left on his own. It's been a while since I read about it though.

Ellefson wouldn't have left his side by choice.

Well the [I]The World Needs A Hero[/I] lineup wasn't really fired since Dave injured his arm and they disbanded. Ellefson choose not to come back.

Lars is Danish. Ellefson isn't the Danish piece of ****. Lars is.

when dave was retired (temporarilly) and disbanded megadeth due to his arm injury, him and effelson were in dispute over some financial rights issues, which effelson lost... when the band reassembled effelson was out of the picture

I thought Ellefson was talking bad about Dave, then he quited and sued Megadeth, then he lost and finally Dave counterattacked making Ellefson to waste a lot of money for nothing.

I think they're over it now though.

Dave's a right cheeky bastard sometimes. Lars was a good friend of his. and its real low to write a load of sh[SIZE="3"]i[/SIZE]t about him. what was the specific insentive?

Lars is so much worse to Dave, then Dave to him.

Lars won't actually recognise what Dave did for Metallica (Which might not have been a whole lot in the big scope of things, but I don't think they would have started out so well had it not been for the equal input from all members, including Dave).

Yeah. If they didn't have Dave they would never have got big, or they may have taken some time to get big. When Dave joined he was the only one with balls enough to get the crowd going and push the other guys on.

All of the old Metallica videos with Dave still in the band, he's the only one talking to the crowd and trying to rile them up.

That's where James got his stage act from I guess.

So half/most the new album was recorded in england ... and after a break for a month they are gonna finish it in LA. Its set to be out before the end of the year and gigantour 2

lovely.... yeah something like TSHF would be perfect, maybe with some more thrashyness.
