A page back there was discussion about how long people've played.

So I was wondering...not how long people have played, but how long you guys have played Classic Rock.

I mean, I've played piano since I was 5 (12 years ago), but I've only started classic rock drumming for 4 1/2 years. So I was wondering how long you guys have been strumming (or beating) the good ol' sounds of rock 'n roll?

(I'm great for stopping conversations and adding in tidbits here and there)

Woodstock 09-30-2004 02:27 PM

To Badmoon: The Robert Randolph and Family Band did Run For Life as a cover of the Beatles?

Badmoon 09-30-2004 03:11 PM

Broken Arrow 09-30-2004 03:30 PM

To Guitarted: I am also 14 however I am way more knowledgable(especailly about classic rock) then you will ever be.

BludgeonySteve 09-30-2004 04:14 PM

If I had that kind of money i'd buy anthology. But I don't :(

Woodstock 09-30-2004 04:14 PM

I'd been saving up for it, now my pockets have cobwebs.

gmoneyguy 09-30-2004 04:23 PM

Isn't the original price like $80?

MalcolmYoungRock 09-30-2004 04:30 PM

Today I be getting Bridge Over Troubled Water ( because I'm sick of listening to it on the site) and a Bob Dylan and Neil Young cd. Suggestions?

The Essential Bob Dylan, I don't listen to the others so I don't know

Broken Arrow 09-30-2004 04:38 PM

Well do you want Neil on his own?

If so go Harvest I can garuntee (sp?) you'll like at least a song

If CSNY go So Far

I would recommend these 2 but he also played with Buffalo Springfeild and Crazyhorse so be open minded

MalcolmYoungRock 09-30-2004 04:40 PM

I know but should I get Buffalo, CrazyHorse, or Young just by himself. Or CSNY?

But I think I'll just get a Neil cd and the Simon and Garfunkel cd.

BludgeonySteve 09-30-2004 04:41 PM

I could give him lots of Neil Young :)

Harvest Moon is great for folk.

Broken Arrow 09-30-2004 04:42 PM

I have alot of Neil on viynl

On C.D.-Harvest
-Harvest Moon

I highly recommend So Far though

thickasabrick 09-30-2004 05:07 PM

i've got about ten neil young albums on vinyl...no cds though
i like decade the most because its got a lot of songs on it. i usually listen to that one.

thickasabrick 09-30-2004 05:26 PM

anyone else think neil young has an amazing guitar playing style..hes really considered more of a singer/songwriter but i think he has an amazing style when it comes to guitar.
