I work in a kinda warehouse, the job is a kinda on the job training program the state has set up, so after highschool I started working there and gain skill, its a pretty good deal, Im home at about 2:00pm.

Alma 10-01-2004 06:28 AM

carpenter aye. nice. i so need a job but my parents wont let me :upset:

FUNKNBASS 10-01-2004 06:29 AM

LOL My parents made me, but it was also partly my choice, one day I want to be a luthier and one of the big things you do in lutherie is cutting wood. I could probly cut out a P body in my sleep at this point.

ocdrumandbass 10-01-2004 06:31 AM

FUNKNBASS 10-01-2004 06:32 AM

GO to samash or guitar center and try one out. Its hard to describe what they do, they have several functions.

About 16 months, it might not seem long but working an averge of 10 hour days and VERY intese work really makes your skills build fast.

nice. i spose the money from this is how all those basses of urs came along?

FUNKNBASS 10-01-2004 06:38 AM

$19,500 a year(i'm only a "level 2" lol) and almost all has gone to gear, I live with 3 of my best friends/bandmates so we split the rent and bills 4 ways, so its like 200 a month each.

Alma 10-01-2004 06:40 AM

nice.

id love to be earning that at this stage, so then i can just go crazy buying basses without bugging my dad.

whats ur fave bass out of all of urs?

FUNKNBASS 10-01-2004 06:42 AM

Easily my Sandberg Custom mainly cause it was built just for me and it sounds amazing and feels great, my Flea bass comes in a close second.
Hey Shel, you sure look like you had fun in your trip. One hell of a party, where was it again, New Orleans?

I shall go there some day, with a lot of beans....btw, in what time of year is it when you give away neckless and stuff. I really enjoy generous people....
That would be... Jan. 28- Feb. 8 (the parade season), although, as we discovered, they tend to do it year round. I came home with like 10 pounds of beads and nary a breast did I bare! Although I *did* see a comely youmg woman showing hers off at 3am on Saturday morning. :amaze:

I don't think I'd want to be there during Mardi Gras. It was insane enough in September!

Jim Hull 10-01-2004 08:00 AM

Btw shel, sg1 starts here in 4 days and I cant wait. Have you seen atlantis yet? If you have, is it as good as sg1?

ShelBel 10-01-2004 08:12 AM

I've seen a couple eps of Atlantis, it reminds me of early Stargate. I think it'll get better as it goes, although I've missed like the last month or so of both Stargate and Atlantis.

But this season of SG-1 pwns. I just had to say that. ;)

Espbassor 10-01-2004 09:44 AM

@ Paul: because we are all very sad and lonely and the only way to placate boredom is to log on to some forum and post very meaningless but funny comments to other sad lonely people :D
