So my guitarist and I have been talking about the progress on our EP (which were gonna record this weekend), but we've decided to change up what were going to records, the osng I linked a little bit was a half-***-ed improve at what were tryng to do at first +reggaeton.

Anyhow, so far what we've decided we really want to play sludgy grind, mostly grind, but also with like, Usurp Synapse influence somehow thrown in, and trying to talk johnny into writing silly Edgein guitar parts to randomly place in songs.

So basically this project looks like it'll end up turning out as sludgy "emoviolence" grind mix.

New "Star Trek" looks incredibly gay, like some mix of an Apple commercial, the OC and Prison break. Old Star Trek is infallible.

With you on that but idk the last few movies were meh, but this appealed.

But the last few movies were Next Generation so of course they were going to be mediocre. That show was so overrated. First two seasons of it sucked and the last few movies sucked. It's all about The Original Series. Three consistently amazing seasons followed by two brilliant movies, one hilarious one, one okay one, a snorefest and whatever the hell you'd call Final Frontier (the word I'd use is terrible).

Old school for you then, that's cool, coz it was damn good ****. Next Generation was my first delve into it and saw every ep, but I do agree that original would be hard to top. William Shatner wasn't even approached for a role in this current one either.

Well considering he died in Generations and the new movie is about some gay ****ing timewarp it wouldn't make sense for him to be in it anyways.

Plus Shatner is too elite for this Shaun of the Dead, Harold and Kumar fake Star Trek ****.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'll see the movie and I might enjoy it from an entertainment aspect but I hardly expect it to do any justice to the franchise. The fact that the trailer says "forget what you know about Star Trek" is insulting because not only is that stupid but it's just perpetuating a stereotype.

I mean what good is Star Trek without green women, bell bottoms and latent sexism?

Anyways, I'm about to go into full blown nerd rage talking about this new "Star Trek" film, so I'm going to bed instead.
