I listend to the commerical album twice in the last few days, and now the residents are really high on my lastfm due to the short songs.

Yeah. That album is basically the reason the Residents are so high on my list. I love that album a lot, though.

The residents are #1 on my list, even though my brother and I both stopped listening to them for quite awhile. The problem is that they come up on random play so often, so it's impossible to avoid.

Solo album from the Kayo Dot dude. It's a bit out there.... The good stuff is great, but some of it is a bit too ambient and such for me.

Yeah, that's still a good album, but [i]Fermi Paradox[/i] is the main reason I really dig them.

Aztec Camera.

He (basically a solo act, Roddy Frame) reminds me of Orange Juice in many ways. If you like OJ, the Smiths, Echo & the Bunnymen etc. you'll probably really dig this stuff. I'm just listening to it for the first time so I can't recommend specific tracks just yet but the album I picked up (combination of [I]Knife[/I] and[I]Aztec Camera[/i] LPs) is classy.
