Just picked up a costume for a fancy dress party on sunday. Its a joint 18th so you can imagine how big this will be, like all of our year at college is going, and this resturant is booked out. Plus we're stopping at the pub beforehand for around an hour.. :chug:

Anyway, i'm going as a cowboy :)

i'm going to a fancy dress party in a week. cant decide what to go as yet though. my 2 mates are going dressed as women so i might do that, or i will don my trilby hat and white tie and go as a gangster.

i'm going as a cowboy for halloween. i've always wanted to dress up as a cowboy, but i've never really had a practical reason to. my costume is going to be amazing. going to value village and getting the stupidest looking cowboy outfit for cheap cheap cheap.

Today is my moms birthday.
We met this guy who had a tragus piercing at this party, and ever since then she's wanted one. So she went to the shop today so we could both get it done.
She got hers done, but apparently you've got to have a birth certificate on top of ID if you're under 18. So I've got to go tomorrow.
But it's still great...
I've wanted to get them pierced for like 3 years.

In another unrelated note I just murdered my midterm for International Development Studies. It's 30% of my final mark and I worked hard for this one. 5 days of straight studying. No one needs to care, I just felt like sharing one of my school successes

That and I was able to trade in my XS20 14" rock hats and 18" rock crash straight up for a 20" AAX Stage crash

Im planning on buying new cymbals, and im thinking of getting some Zildjians. I saw a set that included one crash, one ride, the hi hat and one china, and other seth that includes the same as the other but instead of having one china it has another crash. So should i get two Crashes or one Crash and one China?

Ok....is it just me or has there been an influx of newer members to D&P....almost all of which have really hostile attitudes? It's kinda disturbing, there seems to be a lot more....edginess.

Haha, ya, basically what I discovered is that I'm a lot more eotionally attached and involved in this relationship than she is....ya, it's fantastic. Now, that isn't to say she doesn't like me, she likes me a lot. But it's still hard, thinking and knowing that you're putting so much more energy and feeling into a relationship than the other.

This is a tragus piercing.
I've already got my mom to let me get it, but I need to know if I should get one or both of them done.
Right now I've got two holes in each of my earlobes, and one upper cartilage in each ear. Should I just get one tragus or two?

Ahh man I know exactly how you feel. I was the same way with my last gf but then she pulled out the i'm not sure anymore line and then let it run out about a week longer with her "thinking" about it. It was quite depressing being stuck in the outcast zone. Then she dumped me and said that I didn't pay enough attention to her and that I jammed with my band to much, even though at the time we had only jammed 3 or 4 times compared to our everyday all the time jamming. She was somewhat of a biotch who apparently didn't give a shi[size=2]t[/size] about the relationship.

See, my girlfriend's really not like that, she really wants to make it work, and it hurts her as much as it hurts me. She doesn't think she deserves me, though. Which is kinda ridiculous, althuogh her reasoning was that she doesn't deserve me because I'm puttig so much forward and she can't give as much back.

ahhh, i hate when people get on my drums without asking. with my bro i dont care as much because if he does anything i can take his moeny to replace it, but my one neighbor, whenever he comes over, if he sees my drums, he just goes over and starts playing.

i really need to hit him next time he does it.

i know the feeling. last time someone went to play my drums without asking they got hit over the head by a handfull of vic firth 5a's. they might not be the biggest sticks, but they still damn hurt.

My jam today was pretty much the same as yours puppet. We didn't do much but kind of finished up a song of ours.

Ya writing your own sound is always a fun process.

Indeed, we placed 3rd in our school talent show with our own song, which was great, because even bands who do covers dont place, we were the only band to do an orginal this year, and the first band to place in 5 years.
