Don't even need cardboard. I'll take some photos right this second.

gaslight 11-09-2009 10:10 AM

Awesome man.

I can't believe I'm genuinely interested in a duct tape wallet but I am.

I might try make one of heavy duty cloth tape or something.

funkyhoney 11-09-2009 10:23 AM

I'm pretty awesome.

gaslight 11-09-2009 10:24 AM

Yeah man it's very bush.

If I mass produce with a 1 year warranty I'll be rich forever.

BenJammin 11-09-2009 10:28 AM

Lol, well done.

funkyhoney 11-09-2009 10:28 AM

I'm a man of many talents.

gaslight 11-09-2009 10:29 AM

Nice dude.

Seriously if you make a bunch in different sizes and **** you could probably show up to a local crafts fair or something and sell at least a few.

funkyhoney 11-09-2009 10:35 AM

I use it when I go out in town with only essentials so I don't lose all my bank cards/license/medical info etc. as well as an $80 leather wallet if I get blind or mugged. Man I'm good.

gaslight 11-09-2009 10:38 AM

What's the cost of duct tape required to churn one out?

I reckon you could charge $10 to $15 easy.

Only major shame about it is no zipper for coins. Pop buttons could be easily affixed though.

pukeboy66 11-09-2009 10:44 AM

Man, it took me a second to remember my password. Whats up guys?

gaslight 11-09-2009 11:00 AM

Not heaps man. Up late, drinking tea, listening to music. Procrastinating doing teaching prep for the week by doing some of my own study.

Yourself?

I should heckle you on FB more.

fatbandit 11-09-2009 11:53 AM

You take inspiration from the Ducti wallets? I think that's the company's name.

FunkMetalBass 11-09-2009 12:25 PM

I went to The Bass Place yesterday (30 min out of my way) to check out the Dingwall Combustion that they should have in stock.

When I got there, I found out that they are closed on Sunday.

Whoops.

Maybe I'll be able to run over and check it out today.

gaslight 11-09-2009 12:29 PM

Oh :( bummer.
Maybe it's the camera, the dude looks in the background to the right looks like he has the same thing as well as some scales on his neck.

Perhaps the whole band was trying to turn Super Saiyan right at that exact moment.
A human trying to turn super saiyan would definitely make you turn red, was what i was getting at, jeez...nerds. :smash:

Band practices have been going great. Only thing is we might need a new singer.

Regardless, I can't wait for our next show. We're going to rip it up.

Nice bro. We're almost done with our second album, which is a professional version of our demo. The last show we played we killed it hard. (this is Danny btw)

whitesquares 11-09-2009 05:44 PM

Why the new singer?

I agree that you need a new singer. I've been saying that since the beginning. Get Raayl...he'd be a good fit.

Wicked. We're preparing for our 4th album, getting all the songs ready to record, and practicing for shows again.

Yeah... no.

whitesquares 11-09-2009 05:49 PM

So I just got my pet hedgehog Gentoo one of those plastic balls to run around in and she absolutely loves it. This rules.

Spaceman Spiff 11-09-2009 05:49 PM
Why the new singer?
Because the person we've had hasn't been showing up to practices, and when she is there, she doesn't know the songs. I wouldn't get up on a stage with her again unless I was certain she could actually sing the songs.

whitesquares 11-09-2009 05:55 PM

Legit.

Singers tend to do that.

whitesquares 11-09-2009 05:56 PM

Quick, someone write an insightful 15 page paper on Hamlet for me.

Spaceman Spiff 11-09-2009 05:58 PM

Hamlet is cool. He kills people. He does over-the-top things when he's protrayed by Kenneth Branagh. Nice one, Shakespeare.

That's a start to get the juices flowing.

whitesquares 11-09-2009 06:00 PM

I love Shakespeare. He rules.

I just finished King Lear today for like the fifth time. King Lear and Hamlet are my two favorites, followed by Twelfth Night in third place. They're all such fantastic plays. Each time I read them, I find something that utterly boggles my mind. Shakespeare was a true artist who had the craft of writing down pat, whether it be comedies or tragedies.

Spaceman Spiff 11-09-2009 06:00 PM
Legit.

It's been painful playing shows with her. She hasn't really improved since we've started playing with her. She's almost out of chances, but she's definitely not playing this next show with us. Unless, by some freak miracle, she can get these songs down in the next two and a half weeks.
