I see Gospel & Racebannon tomorrow.

Gargh. Living in the UK with a lack of a local hardcore scene unless you count some Avenged Sevenfold wannabe group means I really don't get to see this sort of band. :mad:

LA Quiete are tour over here soon, so are Daitro. Aside from that the UK hardcore scene is better than you think, plenty of good bands around, you just have to look...

That's much the same in Australia. We have a thriving hardcore scene, it gets bigger all the time.

I find that unless you're into the scene, it's non existant. When I listened to punk, I was finding myself hanging out with a lot of ska kids and most of the shows I went to were ska.
But now that I'm into hardcore, I don't hear much of ska at all.

Probably the real problem is me. I'm not really into the scene, more of a mild interest so I don't go out of my way to look for such shows. Daitro are touring... hmm I like them so I may have to look.

The hardcore scene around here sucks. There isn't much outside of metalcore and pop-punk 'round these parts... :(

Anyone here a fan of Another Breath? I'm not really an avid hardcore/emo listener so I might be wrong, but I guess they're modern hardcore. I downloaded their album(or EP?) [I]Not Now, Not Ever[/I] and I really like it.
