Bedrovelse 04-08-2005 09:31 AM

Thunder Fingers 04-08-2005 09:34 AM

another one of thoose stupid christian traditions i guess...

fatbandit 04-08-2005 09:39 AM

Eddie, I feel like shit personally, and I never have huge confidence in my playing. Everyone on here pwns me.

Spaceman Spiff 04-08-2005 09:40 AM

Hooray for Fridays!

lemoley 04-08-2005 09:40 AM

why/how do know that bandit

fatbandit 04-08-2005 09:42 AM

Psh, every recording I hear, everyone I jam with on YIM is better than me. My dad thinks I'm amazing, lol.

Bedrovelse 04-08-2005 09:43 AM

I've been getting bored of bass playing,
i think i need to invest in either: some new music
new gear..(effects pedal of some kind)
Join a band. ( im in 1, but i want 1 that actually practises :P)

fatbandit 04-08-2005 09:45 AM

Bedrovelse - get gigging... Keeps interest.

Learn a new technique or style. Take up guitar to let you appreciate bass and music more as a whole...

You have anything to say about my Portrait Of Tracy?

Check the thread if you haven't, I've already responded about my screw ups, just if you have anything else you'd like to add. :thumb:

Thunder Fingers 04-08-2005 09:51 AM

so... noone knows what phil lynnott used?

lemoley 04-08-2005 09:52 AM

sorry man no idea

fatbandit 04-08-2005 09:56 AM

Nope. Not big into Thin Lizzy. I don't think his choice of strings should matter too much.

Thunder Fingers 04-08-2005 09:58 AM

i have heard rumors about rotosound flats.. thats exactly what i planed to get anyway..:p as soon as i get the 200 kr im missing... but then i dont have to buy new strings in a year..:D

Thunder Fingers 04-08-2005 10:03 AM

yupp.... and steve harris was a big fan of lynnott....

lemoley 04-08-2005 10:05 AM

One more question is steve (yes were on first name terms lol) playing with a pick now, cos on the angel and the gambler video it looks like he is.

Thunder Fingers 04-08-2005 10:06 AM

NONONONONONONONO! He plays powerchords or if he plays more than one note he strums with the back of his finger nails...

fatbandit 04-08-2005 10:07 AM

Bah, he can if he wants I suppose. Might be covering Flight of the Icarus woth my band. Not too hard is it?

Thunder Fingers 04-08-2005 10:08 AM

one of maidens easiest songs from the 80's...

fatbandit 04-08-2005 10:08 AM

I strum with my nails, but I have to stop... Its wearing my nails really thin, and they're too bendy and weak :upset:
