It's a really cool release, but generally I'd sooner listen to each band individually. |

iTunes is mad homo bro |
Matthew you gotta restart if you haven't, iTunes is one of the programs that actually does require a restart.
I think last.fm should implement an hour tally. |
I would imagine that would lead to even more updating problems.
|
I think last.fm should implement an hour tally.
What do you guys use to scrobble your iPod?
|
explain plz
one update for every x hours of music scrobbled?
no, like: 1 - Band - 6hr 2 - Band - 5hr Cause playcounts can be misleading. Like, I had 19 Reverend Bizarre plays on my computer last week, which is like 48 hours of music. |
...seriously?
Last.fm provides the scrobbler for you, you just have to connect your iPod and set up settings for scrobbling your plays. @Chris |
What are the settings?
|
Well, if you have the normal scrobbler... when you connect your iPod, a box should pop up saying "This is the first time you've connected your iPod while last.fm scrobbler is running" or something to that effect. Then it asks you if you want to scrobble tracks whenever the iPod is connected and you're all like "yes." So then when you connect your iPod, this box pops up and lets you choose tracks to scrobble or just scrobble them all.
|
last.fm only scrabbles your iPod if it auto-synchs.
...seriously?
Yes |
no, like:

I can have 18 Repulsion plays, and then have 8 Godspeed You! Black Emperor plays, and I would have spent a crap load more time listening to Godspeed than Repulsion. I've got Blood Freak at number 2 on my overall list, and there's bands below it that I've listened to a whole lot more, simply because Blood Freak's songs are so short (not to say I don't think Blood Freak is great or anything). |
it would have to scrabble after a whole song
What do you guys use to scrobble your iPod?
I don't have an iPod, but I'm frankly tired of fielding iTunes help questions—iTunes is a piece of shit—so I should like to point out there are alternatives such as LastPod http://www.lastpod.org/ I use the built-in scrobbling in Sonata btw; it's a great program http://i28.tinypic.com/k0lzmd.png |
Yes
I was talking to Chris. |
Thanks guys.
Chris...relax brah. |

I think Nadja would jump up quite a bit on a few people's lists.
Om too. |
boner
|
1 CunninLynguists 54
2 Afghan Whigs 46 3 Frank Zappa 21 4 King Geedorah 15 5 Ghostface 14 6 Oh No 13 7 Minus the Bear 7 8 Colour Haze 6 8 Aesop Rock Meets The J. Kingz 6 10 Binary Star 5 |
Sweet list, Pulse.
|
1. Minutemen - 322
2. Hüsker Dü - 171 3. The Replacements - 167 4. Gang of Four - 125 5. Mission of Burma - 52 6. Queensr˙che - 49 6. Morrissey - 49 8. Mötley Crüe - 14 9. The Rolling Stones - 13 9. Paul McCartney - 13 ouch. |
There was that thing where it took an average and gave you an adjusted overall list based on time.

Uh, no it's not.
|
i am a winamp simpleton
|
Winamp ftw!
|
I hate Winamp
|
winamp rules all over iTunes tbh.
|
winamp freezes as soon as i open it because my music library is too large
|
kinda like me and females
only they melt instead of freeze and it's penis instead of music library |
winamp freezes as soon as i open it because my music library is too large
Same |
winamp freezes as soon as i open it because my music library is too large
winamp is better when you just drag the folder into the player
which is what i do and is a lot easier **** music libraries |
Winamp >>> iTunes. Winamp supports more far more file types and you can actually get plug-ins for more functionality. With iTunes you only get what it comes with, and it's annoying. Plus, Winamp's got milkdrop, which is pretty awesome.
I actually don't use Winamp though, I use foobar2000, because it's not bloated with tones of **** like iTunes and Winamp are, and it's pretty much as customizable as it gets. I don't recommend it to everyone though, because most people aren't willing to spend the time to figure it out. |
