well they lean a bit more towards stoner so I could see why

Idk like I really didn't like their vocals and none of the riffs or anything stuck with me as memorable.

To me they are a bigger picture type of band. Nothing extra special at the individual level, but it comes together better than the parts are individually.

edit: what album did you check out?

I have Forest of Equilibrium, it's pretty good, but hard to get into.
