Aaron 11-20-2008 05:32 AM

lol @ music theory. go play jazz dudes.

gaslight 11-20-2008 05:38 AM

What's your beef with theory/jazz?

big80smullet 11-20-2008 05:41 AM

if you dudes go to aarons house i will pop round with my guitar and we can jam and drink and drink and jam

radtaste 11-20-2008 05:44 AM
D Minor I always find is the saddest of all keys really

and yeah ima smash you radtaste mo****a
It is disturbing that I can not even remember what we were to battle for.
It's not too bad really. You couldn't possibly raise a major seventh any further because then it would be the tonic.
I believe in miracles!

Aaron 11-20-2008 05:47 AM

Evan we can drink jam.
What's your beef with theory/jazz?
nothing haha. I did 11 years of violin though so im pretty much avoiding it like the plague by playing drums.

big80smullet 11-20-2008 05:52 AM

dude aaron we need to start making musics and incorporating violin.

maybe you could do some meg white type deal while you play violin

Aaron 11-20-2008 05:55 AM

i'd be happy to do meg white in the name of science

i havent played violin since i left study at the conservatorium

big80smullet 11-20-2008 05:58 AM

no i mean you play a really simple drum beat with your feets and play violin at the same time.

Did you see her sex tape?

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 11-20-2008 06:03 AM

does anyone know how to use cubase 4?

i'm stuck.

and harmonic minor is my favourite scale.

and

it's apparently not meg white.

Aaron 11-20-2008 06:03 AM

No. it good?

big80smullet 11-20-2008 06:14 AM

gaslight 11-20-2008 06:17 AM

Harmonic minor is a cool scale. Melodic and harmonic minor create some sweet chords.

Aaron 11-20-2008 06:25 AM

I_WEAR_RED_PANTS 11-20-2008 07:13 AM

someone give me a chord progression i can use tomorrow on my looper so i can bust out some sweet leads on my 6 string bass over it. my knowledge of theory only goes so far.

radtaste 11-20-2008 07:23 AM

lol, 6 string, cool.

gaslight 11-20-2008 07:25 AM

Yeah, D#9+5 over the +5 works too.

You could cue up a simple jazz progression like Gmaj7 / Emin7 / Amin7 / D7#9

radtaste 11-20-2008 07:30 AM

Matt, you ought to start up a music theory/chord progression hotline.

Meatplow 11-20-2008 07:31 AM
