Wretch is my favourite at the moment, just for the bit at the end.
|
heard wretch the other day and i thought the whole song was pretty sick
|
For those curious, or for folks as fanatic as myself here is what the set list was for the first handful of dates:[[in order]]
Blood Meat The Dissentience Nautical (Intro)--Limb from Limb Sequoia Throne Blindfolds Aside Heretics & Killers --or-- No Stars Over Bethlehem Goddess Bound Goddess Gagged [[susceptible to being cut if theres lack of time since they are not the head-lining band.]] I would imagine that the Kezia songs are interchangeable depending on whatever the band feels like playing although no stars only popped up once over 4 shows I would love to hear bone marrow as much as the next crazy fan but in the lack there of 'limb from limb' really shines in this set list. Cheers folks. *waits for warped tour w/ PTH* |
They play Limb from Limb though. It just depends on the date.
|
They finally clicked. I am really digging Fotress
|
yeah i cant stop listening to this album, absolutely amazing
favorite song (at the moment) bone marrow |
Seeing these guys February 28th :D
|

|

|
yeah im going to see them on like march 18th, is it still that crappy bill?
the one with devil wears prada day to remember and silverstien?
My friend and I are thinking of going to a similar show. Silverstein The Devil Wears Prada A Day To Remember Protest The Hero Is it worth it if we've never heard any of the other bands? |
none of the other bands come close to PTH. actually TDWP are one of the worst bands
when i saw PTH open for Trivum, they were amazing. they put on a really fun energetic show. but their lead guitarists wasnt there and they were too high to stay on for too long. plus they covered "**** the Border" by Propagandhi which was flat out killer |
I checked out silverstein..they are like pop punk with screaming in it..
dunno about a day to remember or DWP |
devil wears prada is ok IMO but they're fun to watch live
i really dont like silverstien at all and a day to remember will have all the floorpunchers out in full effect |
i hate your avatar.
|
i hate your avatar.
good
My friend and I are thinking of going to a similar show. Silverstein The Devil Wears Prada A Day To Remember Protest The Hero Is it worth it if we've never heard any of the other bands?
protest the hero are a really good live act but its up to you |
The other bands all suck but don't not see Protest because of it. It's not like they're happy about this tour, I mean, really.
Seeing these guys February 28th :D
Guess no one's gotten in touch with you yet? I havent talked to anyone in a few days so I don't think they've really had much access to the internet. |
so its safe to say they hate being on that tour as well?
|
that's exactly what he just said.
i hate your avatar. |
that's exactly what he just said.
i hate your avatar.
well ok then and sweet, im glad you dont like it and im glad it makes you take time out of your day to tell me that you dont like it, it serves its purpose then |
I wonder who they would want to tour with? I mean who really fits that well with them?
|
Pretty much any metalcore band.
|
Plenty of bands. They'd fit on most metal bills as long as it's not a typical death metal band or a black metal band. Anyone but TDWP and Silvestein.
Into Eternity. Between the Buried and Me (won't happen, but it'd fit). Dillinger Escape Plan. Architects (which might happen). Any "forward" thinking metal band, honestly
Pretty much any metalcore band.
A lot of them, even though Protest the Hero isn't a metalcore band at all. |
I can understand the forward thinking bands but not any old metalcore band. They are too different vocally IMO.
|
They don't have to "fit the bill" musically all the time. Protest has played gigs with plenty of different sounding bands here.
But playing with shitty pop punk bands and tDWP is ridiculous and does not work at all. But that's what you get for signing to Vagrant. |
well ok then

They toured with Limp Bizket...With that said I wont be surprised if they opened for projeck revolution....
|

No, it really does.
They toured with Limp Bizket...With that said I wont be surprised if they opened for projeck revolution....
They were 15. That was almost seven years ago. Different management. Horrible idea. |

Limp Bizkit? No way. |
way
|
Limp Bizkit and Korn. They got booed. They had to charge $40 for T-Shirts to match everyone elses prices. Seven years ago.

Man that sucks. |
Seven years ago.
|
that does suck, i hate festival prices, they're just stupid
|
that does suck, i hate festival prices, they're just stupid
It wasn't a festival. |
that does suck, i hate festival prices, they're just stupid
That's why I never bought t-shirts at Ozzfest because they were 40 bucks. Sounds Of The Underground and Warped are far superior because they let the bands run their own individual merch booths. |
PTH + DEP would be a sweet show. Even though DEP's new album sucks.
