I still like Leave That Thread Alone...
Yeah, that one's not bad either.

BludgeonySteve 10-28-2005 05:37 PM

New World Thread works very well. I nominate it.

BludgeonySteve 10-29-2005 11:20 AM

anyone second it??

BurningSky 10-29-2005 11:22 AM
anyone second it??
I second it, but I made it up so I don't know if my vote counts...

Artemician 10-29-2005 11:47 AM

Yeah, I like New World Thread. It's probably the best one that's come up so far.

Maggot Dream 10-29-2005 12:05 PM

I think it's good. Seconded.

thunderzstruck 10-29-2005 12:42 PM

I still like mine the best.. but this is a democracy. Anyone else like New World Thread?

Tele_Dude 10-29-2005 01:01 PM

I recently got into Rush. Amazing band! Alex Lifeson is a God :)
Does he use PRS?

BludgeonySteve 10-29-2005 01:18 PM

Looks like it's New World Thread (Rush). Lets give it another little while until we ask for it to be changed.

Also: I've never heard of him playing PRS before.

standard 10-29-2005 01:40 PM

You've never heard of Alex playing a PRS?

Maggot Dream 10-29-2005 01:49 PM
I recently got into Rush. Amazing band! Alex Lifeson is a God :)

He uses a PRS quite frequently. He's known for using virtually all types of guitars.

BludgeonySteve 10-29-2005 02:09 PM

He mainly uses Gibson guitars. though. And sometimes he uses a Fender Telecaster. But he probably does use PRS as well.

Firecracker 10-29-2005 02:18 PM

I'm liking
Rush: The Spirit Of Mx

BludgeonySteve 10-29-2005 05:46 PM

Rush: The Spirit Of Mx seems too far away from a reference to Spirit of the radio. It would work better if it was The Spirit of the MX but then that's awkward.

thunderzstruck 10-29-2005 08:04 PM
He uses a PRS quite frequently. He's known for using virtually all types of guitars.
 He has like what.. 15 different guitars on Rush in Rio

Yeeeah.. true

I just like how it's subtly saying Rush > All in the title while still being a song :P

Buuut it's not only up to me

dr._feelgood 10-29-2005 08:10 PM

How about:

Moving Threads
A Farewell To Threads

Pink_Zeppelin 10-29-2005 08:49 PM

Rush are Canadian which makes me happy to see at least 1 great Canadian Classic Rock band.

dr._feelgood 10-29-2005 08:53 PM

Neil Young is great, but he's not really a Classic Rock "band"

BludgeonySteve 10-29-2005 10:01 PM

Yes but it's the same product as a band and so that doesn't matter. Also, he has a backup band called Crazy Horse.

Maggot Dream 10-29-2005 11:18 PM
 He has like what.. 15 different guitars on Rush in Rio
Yeah, and he uses a hage variety of guitars in studio too.

Britton 10-29-2005 11:25 PM

I'd help you out, but all my Rush is on my mp3 player, which is broken. Sorry :upset:

BludgeonySteve 11-01-2005 07:01 PM

I'll send him Closer To The Heart, 2112, Xanadu and A Passage to Bankok (I only have 2112 and A Farewell to Kings on my computer and i'm not about to do rip others).

BludgeonySteve 11-01-2005 07:05 PM

thunderzstruck 11-01-2005 07:06 PM

yeeeah i made sure

haha

I sent

the trees
working man
red barchetta
one little victory

pohl_56 11-02-2005 07:45 PM

I think something incorporating "Free Will" in the title would be cool.

FREEWILL:The Ultimate Rush Thread

Rush Rocks!!

Rounder 11-02-2005 07:47 PM

what he needs is Natural Science, Subdivions, and Jacob's Ladder the best 3 rush songs ever.

btw, my and my brother are recording subdivions. Im doing the keyboards right now, I'll post it when we are done.

BludgeonySteve 11-02-2005 09:35 PM

The next 6 people to vote for a thread title will have their votes counted. Go!

I vote for A Farewell To Threads.

(I don't count for the 6, but my vote counts)

What about me?

dr._feelgood 11-02-2005 09:41 PM

I like A Farewell To Threads too... but my vote might be kinda biased.

BludgeonySteve 11-02-2005 09:46 PM

No such thing as a biased vote here. All votes are valid unless the person isn't a regular poster in this thread.

YDload 11-02-2005 10:00 PM

The Temple of Syrinx!

BludgeonySteve 11-02-2005 10:02 PM

not a bad one at all. That's one extremely catchy song inside a song. :thumb:
