I know. I insulted him. I got the R&M one though.

Bartender 08-31-2004 06:40 PM

You know what kicks ass? Having a 24-hour, self-service video store 2 minutes from your front door. Anything which allows me to rent something when I'm bored (and it's 1:30 in the morning) must be awesome.

themightyquinn23 08-31-2004 06:51 PM
I have both a "to watch" and a "to buy" list for movies and cd's, respectively. Both are getting to be quite large.
I can never get my "to buy" list to stay the same. I always cross off a bunch of them and put new ones on, making the list pointless.
I can never get my "to buy" list to stay the same. I always cross off a bunch of them and put new ones on, making the list pointless.
My problem is that I add cd's to the list faster than I can buy them, so the list is huge.

And I rent all my movies from the library. My mom is trying to prove some point to Blockbuster by not paying a two dollar fine, so I can't get movies there anymore. :upset:

Kingofdudes 08-31-2004 07:00 PM

I usually buy impulsively, unless a band really wows me, like Children of Bodom did.

Dancin' Man 08-31-2004 07:07 PM

I never buy. I wish. I start my Christmas list around february.

Paranoidd 08-31-2004 07:07 PM

How can you guys not have seen Pulp Fiction? W-T-F!

Kingofdudes 08-31-2004 07:15 PM

teh shame! :upset:

rockdude 08-31-2004 07:18 PM

I haven't seen Pulp Fiction, I want to alot though. I should rent it sometime soon

Paranoidd 08-31-2004 07:23 PM

It's only one of the best movies ever...rent it now!

Bartender 08-31-2004 07:25 PM

Yeah, you should see it. Reservoir Dogs too, if you haven't already. Steer clear of Kill Bill though.

Paranoidd 08-31-2004 07:26 PM

True Romance is excellent as well.

Per Ardua Ad Astra 08-31-2004 07:27 PM

American history X is such a great movie.

Kingofdudes 08-31-2004 07:28 PM

The Matrix series, such crapness.

Per Ardua Ad Astra 08-31-2004 07:30 PM

Agreed, i'm not big on the matrix.

Paranoidd 08-31-2004 07:31 PM

I thought The Matrix was great. Reloaded blew, and I never saw Revolutions.

Kingofdudes 08-31-2004 07:33 PM

Coolest part of Revolutions was when it ended, second coolest part was when Neo got his eyes burned off.

Bartender 08-31-2004 07:34 PM

Reloaded and Revolutions were decent for the action, but only the first one I actually liked.

Overall, anyone who saw the first one only didn't miss anything too good.

rockdude 08-31-2004 07:46 PM

I thought that the first matrix movie was awesome, it is one of my favorite movies. The second one, i didnt like very much. Revolutions was pretty sweet, i loved the action sequences in it. The first is still my favorite, though.

 There is SHIT ALL OVER MY TUB! Holy Crap! The Plumber better get his ass over here bright and early.

Paranoidd 08-31-2004 08:30 PM

When I was in Italy, I got food poisoning. They turn off the water for the whole town at midnight. So imagine puking 15 times, and crapping about 5 (if you can call it that) into the same toilet and not being able to flush until morning.

Not fun.

Riva 08-31-2004 09:39 PM

Sounds like a cool night to me... :p

Godmic 08-31-2004 09:41 PM

But was it the toilet in the rom you were staying in, or a restaurant?

Either way is hilarious.

Riva 08-31-2004 09:52 PM

Yes... it's funny because it isn't us... :)

Anyways, I saw Girl Next Door last night. :thumb: It is awesomely funny. Paranoidd is right. Eli and Klitz are the best characters in a movie for a long time.
I actually didn't find it like that either (and I wasn't even stoned!); the girls tend to be in the film a lot, but not actually taking up much of the storyline - a lot of the comedy is based on the characters - Eli, Klitz, and Kelly in particular are great characters.
:(.

Awesome movie. I need a new wallet.

Riva 08-31-2004 10:23 PM

oops... sorry Bartender... Bartender is right. Eli and Klitz are the best characters in a movie for a long time.

The toilet was in the apartment I was staying in. It stunk all night.

In case you were wondering, I ate anchovies, a big plate of clams, mussels, and squid, then pasta with clams and mussels, then pasta with shrimp, then a ton of pastries. Washed down with a bottle of red wine.

Imagine that.

I haven't seen the movie, but that wallet looks awesome.

Speaking of movie prop replications, my old science teacher has the same model stapler as the guy from Office Space. The only thing is that he's never seen the movie. :(

superpeer 09-01-2004 01:48 PM

Are we discussing Tarantino films?

I love them all. :D

evilmenhavenosongs 09-01-2004 01:54 PM

I only just saw Kill Bill and I loved it. Now I need to see Part 2.

Paranoidd 09-01-2004 01:56 PM

I heard part 2 was crap, so I didn't ruin part 1 by watching part 2.

Dancin' Man 09-01-2004 02:02 PM

Whoever told you that lied. Both were awesome. I await three (but it's not supposed to be released for about 10 years)

Bartender 09-01-2004 03:36 PM

I didn't like part 1, so I didn't bother with part 2. Anyone here seen Four Rooms?

evilmenhavenosongs 09-01-2004 03:47 PM

There's a part three? And no I haven't seen Four Rooms.

superpeer 09-01-2004 03:48 PM

I loved both parts.
