Well I already pre-ordered it, but who knows when that will get here, so I'm going to download it just to hold me off til I get the pre-order.

GenuineImitation 01-22-2008 02:39 PM

I cant wait until I have the money to buy this album. It definitely has been one of my most anticipated albums ever since Kezia has been released.

illpressureurhinges1 01-22-2008 02:41 PM

This album is my most anticipated album of 2008 as of right now.

beans 01-22-2008 02:46 PM

yeah im stoked for it, ive heard two songs and i love the album so far from those two tracks so im really excited for it to come out

illpressureurhinges1 01-22-2008 02:48 PM

And the weird thing is that even though those two songs I've heard so far are awesome, they're supposed to be two of the weaker songs on the album, so I'm pumped to hear what are supposed to be the best songs.

I sure hope that they are the weaker songs off of the album because then I am in for a very nice treat :)

I hope so too! If it's true, this will be a devilishly classic album.

Well according to Tyler's review it is a step up from Kezia so that is definitely a great sign. Kezia is one of my all time favorite cds so this must be a masterpiece.

I get paid soon, I cant wait....

:thumb: Good luck with that. Well as soon as I get home, I'm downloading it. That's all I'm going to listen to for like the next month.

beans 01-22-2008 03:02 PM

yeah no kidding, everyone says sequoia throne is the weakest track and ive listened to it a few times and i love it so i dont know...ill be pumped when it comes out

Josh D. 01-22-2008 03:30 PM

It probably is. The whole album is more diverse than Kezia, so saying one song is the worst isn't saying much at all. There are some better songs, but individuality of the songs makes that useless.

beans 01-22-2008 03:31 PM

thats what i was thinking, im sure the whole thing will be amazing

Josh D. 01-22-2008 03:35 PM

I think it will start as a 4 for me. Kezia started at 3.5, but it's gone up a whole point since then. I'm sure Fortress will be the same.

Dies Irae 01-22-2008 03:40 PM

ooooh a whole point

Josh D. 01-22-2008 03:47 PM

That's almost a 5! Amazing!

Txus 01-22-2008 03:59 PM

Pams Red is my favorite song so far.

publicastration 01-22-2008 04:08 PM

wtf

it's Palms Read not Pams Red lol

beans 01-22-2008 04:12 PM

lol @ pams red, sounds like a devirgination gone bad...
yeah im going to hell for that one

TheSceneNinja 01-22-2008 05:11 PM

Oh my god I just downloaded this

This blows Kezia the **** out of the water

What the **** stupid Dragonforce guy putting a gay solo in Limb from Limb

Txus 01-22-2008 05:12 PM

sorry, luc. My L and A got ****ing stucked

NemesisDivina 01-22-2008 05:13 PM

It seems I remain the sole hold-out. My first listen of this album is going to be anticipation laden and all out incredible. I'm pre-ordering this as soon as my mom gets home.

Well, his name means a lot. Vadim is a huge fan of Protest and a fried of the band, in fact they're all friends since touring together.

Yeah, it's lame, and yeah, I hate it, but it's short and happens over a part of the song where not much else is going on.

sweboy 01-22-2008 05:18 PM

So basically PTH are sellouts, cool.

Tyler 01-22-2008 05:19 PM

How are they sellouts? They kept it because there was nothing else happening over that part anyways.

The biggest reason they signed with Vagrant was that it allowed them to still support UO and be based out of Toronto.

sweboy 01-22-2008 05:32 PM

Ten seconds of keyboard that doesn't exactly seem like the core element of the song, played by a guy from a huge band with a large young fanbase, idk not hatin' just sayin'.

Tyler 01-22-2008 05:34 PM

But it wasn't a case of "We should pull some strings and exploit the name". He approached them and wanted to do something on it.

publicastration 01-22-2008 05:39 PM

Actually I've been listening to it more and it kind of fits. :\

Tyler 01-22-2008 05:44 PM

It does and it doesn't. I just think if it had a different tone to it, it would have actually worked pretty well.

publicastration 01-22-2008 05:45 PM

yeah I mainly wish it wasn't so videogamish

Skyler 01-22-2008 05:49 PM

Been driving around listening to Fortress all day today after downloading it this morning before class. It rules pretty hard.
