I know. I hate that. It goes both ways. I've noticed that most of the people that hate Bodom, hate them because Alexi bashed Petrucci. :rolleyes: Personally, I think it's stupid. I don't like Dream Theater, but that's just because they don't impress me much. I haven't met too many people that don't like Bodom though; only on this board.

People call bands "sellouts" WAY too often because they become popular...

Classic example: Cradle Of Filth. People say they "sold out"...only because they now sell records and actually have fans. Sure, there's been a change in their music...it doesn't make it any more mainstream.

People need to take music for what it is, and not how many fans or how underground your band is.

I really get pissed off when people say Bodom sucks for no reason, because they have become too mainstream. I remember they were the underground band that people were just starting to learn about and everyone was like woah cool, but now everyone is just like Bodom they suck so they can say they don't listen to mainstream music. That's pretty gay if you ask me, it's not about popularity it's about the music.
