Iai 03-13-2005 12:07 PM

I've listened to Bohemian Rhapsody over 40 times today, because I'm doing some performance investigation coursework on it. I swear I'm gonna die of gay.

I spent most of the weekend visiting universities. I also used Pro-Tools for the first time. It was cool.

Hey peepoz, I'm back for a visit.

This place looks kinda weak and *urgh*happy*urgh* without me, I'm so pleased.

It's only been 2 weeks, but once I get back into this place properely you'll feel the wrath of mu Uni-Pwn. iouwegfwehdbcoyrufohbr (typing with tongue).

Ok, so fill me in. Who's the cool n00bs? Who's taken my place? What band/s are you guys all premming about lately? What's the fashion?

Chickeh Grease.

Iai 03-13-2005 04:51 PM

Sup man.

None/nobody/the same as always, really, since my PC's gone to balls and I can't download any new stuff/posting in TE.

Swami 03-13-2005 04:54 PM

Bugger aye.

I'm so gigged out dude, it's great! I'm going to Moving Units, Black Keys and Fiery Furnaces all in the next 2 weeks. Should be fun!

Iai 03-13-2005 04:56 PM

For a minute, I thought you meant they were all at the same show. That'd be wierd.

How's Uni life treating ya?

Swami 03-13-2005 05:00 PM

Black Keys & Fiery's are the same show.

Uni life is quite cool. I'm bladdered like 4-5 nights a week, but I still feel great!*

It's a really fun place and I have so many mates up here.

*that's a lie, I'm terribly rundown hehe.

Iai 03-13-2005 05:16 PM

Cool. I've been to visit two possible Unis this weekend (didn't I say that already?). One of them has a local pub simply named The Cock, which amused me no end.

It was also pretty damn funny rolling into the Uni at 11am, looking up at the student accomodation, and seeing all the curtains still closed.

Little Man being Erased 03-13-2005 05:33 PM

I saw Coffee and Cigarettes last night, it was some very funny stuff. I especially liked the meeting between Iggy Pop and Tom Waits. Anyone else seen it?

vallely2004 03-13-2005 05:46 PM

I just watched Black Hawk Down for the first time, my only words are: 'What the ****ing hell happened to the pilot?' I thought it was all about the pilot being stuck and taken prisoner, but you never found out what happened to him.

Little Man being Erased 03-13-2005 05:50 PM

I hate that friggin' movie.

Iai 03-13-2005 06:01 PM

My quick review of Black Hawk Down: Piece o'shit.

You do realise I'm going to quote Hicks at you incessantly every time I see you with that avatar? :)

Little Man being Erased 03-13-2005 06:02 PM

Sounds good to me.
Once a month. Usually the 27th, though that's a Sunday this month, so it's the 24th instead.
You get paid once a month, and you are spending it all on a ticket?

Either that's one expensive ticket or you got one shitty job!

Ticket for a weekend-long festival. It's about £120, which is about 2/3 of my paycheck.

I've seen it. Twas ok I though. Meg White's acting was nearly as good as her drumming. My fave scene was the one with Steve Coogan and Alfred Molina, I hope Coogans not like that in real life though. And the Bill Murray/Wu tang was kinda surreal. **** film nearly made me take up smoking, they made it look cool"

leiferikson 03-14-2005 08:24 AM

Is that Reading Festival perchance, Iai? Why do festivals insist on selling tickets weeks before the line-up is announced? I hate that. Its not on until August why do they need to sell tickets now when I have no money?! I think Im gonna try for Glasto this year. Notice how i say "try for" like "try for a baby", because getting Glasto tickets is probably just about as painful as being pregnant. Although the end result is probably a lot more worthwhile

asymm 03-14-2005 08:30 AM

600 now... hmm... I almost look like a true regular now

The line-up is announced on the 21st, and the main batch of tickets go on sale at the beginning of April.

The tickets that were already on sale were advanced bookings. Basically, they were the offcuts from the corporate tickets.
