blue oyster cult needs to get back together there music rocks
Um.
They are still together.
Still touring. I saw them in June as a matter of fact. And it was f***ing killer.

Click here to hear how good they still sound. Click that link. That's a link to a live version of Buck's Boogie, the instrumental featuring amazing guitar from Buck Dharma. That was recorded in 2001. And they're currently better than ever.
BB King anyone?
He's delta blues, not rock.
Brilliant musician though. You'll never ever hear BB waste a single note.
Anyone heard 'The Thrill Is Gone'? That is one of those songs that is perfect.

Whatever 09-29-2004 06:45 AM

Yeah, BB's why I love the blues, even though I'm such a metalhead...

A lot of idiots write reviews on Amazon.com. It kinda pisses me off becuase the people always have no idea what they are talking about. I just choose not to read them most of the time though.

Clive Bunker is a great drummer. Dharma For One (drum solo) stacks up against Moby Dick and Toad.

Word.

Woodstock 09-29-2004 02:04 PM

That Aqualung guy was an idiot.

And CSNY was better than Neil Young. You know why?

Because CSNY had Neil Young+Crosby, Stills and Nash. It's simple mathematics.

Broken Arrow 09-29-2004 02:13 PM
What do you all think? Who's better, Neil Young solo or CSN&Y. I know i'm going to take alot of flame for this but i'd say Neil Young. He did so many amazing things solo. And as far as i'm considerned he's (a bit) better than CSN&Y.

*waits to be beaten up by the hippies*
no no I perfectly agree(<-------does that make sense?)

Yeah reading my Neil Young biography while playing on stage with Buffalo Springfeild he had a elpilectic seisure

Woodstock 09-29-2004 02:17 PM

Once again

CSNY=Neil Young+Crosby, Stills and Nash

CSNY>Neil Young

Broken Arrow 09-29-2004 02:19 PM

Broken Arrow 09-29-2004 02:19 PM

We talk about what we chose here.

Badmoon 09-29-2004 03:00 PM

Stephen Stills is the technically best musician from CSNY, and just the coolest.

Broken Arrow 09-29-2004 04:21 PM

Young>Stills>Crosby>Nash

BludgeonySteve 09-29-2004 04:29 PM
Once again

CSNY=Neil Young+Crosby, Stills and Nash

CSNY>Neil Young
This is not mathamatics and I didn't mean skills wise. I've just found that Neil Young wrote better music by himself than CSNY wrote as a whole. Just because he was in the band didn't mean that he added himself to their overall sound. I think he learned alot from them and was better by himself. That's like saying that Blind Faith or Derek and the dominos was better than Clapton. When obviously Clapton's solo stuff is better than the music that was made when he was in those band.

And yes Stills is the better guitarist ad singer of the two. But Neil Young had a better ability to write songs that people liked (not saying that Stills didn't make good music, just not as good as Neil Young).

Badmoon 09-29-2004 04:31 PM
Neil Young had a better ability to write songs that people liked
Not this people kitten.
I've just found that Neil Young wrote better music by himself than CSNY wrote as a whole.
I'd say he wasn't even close.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-29-2004 04:32 PM

Everybody is an like 4 hours ahead of me so you post while I'm at school...

:(

This sucks.

I come home and BAM! I have to read 5 or 6 pages of crap!

BludgeonySteve 09-29-2004 04:41 PM

Obviously badmoon disagrees. CSNY are more of his type of music than Neil Young solo.

What about Buffalo Springfield? Voice your opinons quickly or else this post will be lost in tons of spam done by n00bs.

edit: ^I just got home half an hour ago. It's annyoing having to read through all of your spam :p

MalcolmYoungRock 09-29-2004 04:44 PM

What spam?

I don't spam very often.

Buffalo Springfield is great.

BludgeonySteve 09-29-2004 04:45 PM

I meant everyone's spam. And I also meant Neil Young Vs Buffalo Springfield.

Maggot Dream 09-29-2004 04:46 PM

Agreed, I don't think Buffalo Springfield gets enough recognition.

Maggot Dream 09-29-2004 04:47 PM

I'd have to put Neil Young over Buffalo Springfield, but then again I'd put CSN over both of them.

Broken Arrow 09-29-2004 04:48 PM

my favourite song is probably Mr. Soul

Woodstock 09-29-2004 05:01 PM
Not this people kitten.

Thank you. Someone agrees with me.

Crosby is obviously my favorite.
