how much are they? where did you get it? I wanna start some sh*t too!

Pete 01-13-2009 06:29 PM

i got it from the biggest european online music store, thomann. i took the cheapest line6 port they had because I'm poor. still comes with all the nice line6 software though, so it's enough for my amateurish needs :)

this is the one; http://www.thomann.de/gb/line6_pod_studio_gx.htm

edit: i guess £79 would be like $150 so it's not a lot

HighandDriving 01-13-2009 06:35 PM

Is there one for bass, so I can record some shitty bass lines for my one man grind/speedcore project.

Pete 01-13-2009 06:41 PM

the one i bought could just as well be used for a bass, only the software is kinda guitar-oriented. but yes, there are ports that are bass-specific

Looking it up now. Thanks dude! I need to figure out how to put drums on that software they have though, we'll see.

Pete 01-13-2009 06:57 PM

VST-plugs my friend

you install a VST like ezdrummer, and it shows up as an option for a channel you add, and when you add an ezdrummer-channel (in this case) the ezdrummer program shows up like a program within the program (ie, a plug-in)

Oh ok, thanks for explaining that to me. Does ezdrummer have the Meshuggah kit?

Pete 01-13-2009 07:15 PM

yes, it does indeed have Drum Kit From Hell

Dimmu Burger 01-13-2009 07:19 PM
