Yeah, as soon as they came out I was like "LYK OMFG <3333!!!!"

They're what got me into emo.

OK, no that's not true. I think Dashboard first got me into it, and from him, I got into emo, indie, screamo, hardcore, and grindcore (in that order).

I listen to emo, indie, and screamo about 70% of the time, hardcore 20%, and grindcore and other random genres about 10%.

im not a huge fan of hardcore , there is definitley hardcore i will listen to. But india and emo take my top 80%......psh who listens to grindcore ....*whispers* thats gross
There is still lots of time for you to save money for college.
Plus, if you want, you could take a year off to work/do whatever you want.
True, but I can't really take a year off. I need to get college over ASAP to get the job I want (chemical engineer, chemist, and cancer researcher. My life goal is to find a cure to cancer).

mmmm Grind.

I'm not that big of an emo and indie fan. Most of it is just too boring. There are some screamo bands that I find good and talented, but I think most are boring and plain. Same with hardcore. It just all becomes repetitive. That's why I have to listen to everything, so I don't become bored with a specified genre. I listen to almost everything other than R 'n' B, most jazz, and country.

My favourite band of all-time would have to be Between The Buried and Me.

There's a few local bands around here that are awesome.

I'm friends with this one band, The Red Chord. They just got back from touring Japan. They're amazing.

neal_672 04-06-2005 04:38 PM

I'd say Indie/Alternative is about 70% of my listenings, normal rock stuffs (incl prog etc) 20% then Jazz, Punk, Dance etc as the rest :thumb:

I agree.

Jaco Jr, if you don't like this thread, no one's making you stay, and comments like that won't do a lot to make us like you.

You've set a pretty hard goal.
But how cool would it be if you did find a cure.

BTBAM isn't too bad. I like "Naked By the Computer" and "Aspirations" myself.

im sorry but cancer doesnt kill that many people deary. if the extremist conservatives found a "cure" for homosexuality we would have more of an overpopulation problem than if we found one for cancer

So try advertising elsewhere, maybe you'll find someone else who wants it.

People don't always want/need/have money for a new bass.

Maybe make a thread about it for people to see. Try other forums, try selling it to a store, see if anyone you know might want it, etc...

"Aspirations" is a great song. I'm not a big fan of "Naked By The Computer," but it is great nonetheless. I think they are just amazing and extremely talented. Two of my band mates and I are obsessed with them. We can play "Mordecai," but our singer and drummer have to finish learning their parts. I think both albums are equally amazing, but I like the quality of the second album more. The new song "Alaska" has a very good intro, but I'm not a huge fan of the rest of it. I can't wait until the new album comes out.

When AYWKUBTTOTD came out, I disliked them very much. I haven't listened to them in a while, so I'm not really sure of what they currently sound like. I might've listened to some of their new stuff because my friend has their album, but I don't remember.

Spaceman Spiff 04-06-2005 04:47 PM

Tuna fish!

I had some for lunch in a sammich with mayonnaise and onion.

It was delicious.

So we should either let everyone die of Cancer/Disease or have some kind of mass culling of people?
