The chourus does suck, but the "once you were free for a while" part is pretty good. I certaintly don't see it as on of their best though. Hating it just seems like overkill though.

It may not be that bad of a song but, like i said before, theres a ton other songs that are better then it.

Invaders is pretty bad too and its on the same album. I dont know why people don't hate that one too. I don't like either much.

I just thought of a pretty good explanation. Gangland is in between some great songs number of the beast, run to the hills, gangland, then finally hallowed be thy name. Gangland just kind of slows down the string of awesome songs. So I guess I can understand why people hate it. It really does pale in comparison to Hallowed, but then again what doesn't?

I've decided to get Powerslave after listening to some of the songs.

yah deifinatley powerslave = awesome, but if you havent heard some of their earlier stuff you should buy iron maiden, or killers

Powerslave is my favorite Iron Maiden album.

for me its a toss up between killers and iron maiden

Killers skip tracks for me are ghengis Kahn, prodigal son and innocent exile.

I love the song, it's one of the only tracks I'm totally happy with DiAnno's vocals...

i think that the whole iron maiden album is fantastic. im just saying out of all the songs strange world is my least favorite. im not saying its a crappy song, im just saying its not a song i worship.
