thickasabrick 10-26-2004 04:00 PM

im pretty sure its the original, but i've never heard the naked version...is it easy to tell them apart?

slowhand 10-26-2004 04:13 PM

Well, the Naked version is a cleaner recording. The only real difference comes in the solo. It changes a little from both versions, and the Naked version's guitar in the solo has a cleaner sound, more like what they would have done if they actually didn't want the album Let It Be to be as much as ubdubbed as it could be.

The 'for though they may be parted' part is where the bass comes in. Maybe what you're hearing is some sounds overlapping each other.

thickasabrick 10-26-2004 04:14 PM

well its not the naked version then...try giving the original a good listen, maybe its just some noise from my speakers. i was hoping it was some sort of subliminal message telling me to do acid.

Woodstock 10-26-2004 04:21 PM

I've never noticed the sunshine thing, but it is where the bass comes in.

myassitches 10-26-2004 04:41 PM

i don`t really listen to alot of classic rock i only listen a little led zeppelin and floyd, the rest are **** laying around on the shelves for $8.99.

Heh, yeah.

I wish I could teach guitar. Teach kids Beatles songs and punk stuff. Would be good, easy work.

8.99 I ****en wish by the way you are probably one of the most retarded metal heads but Ive seen worse. Most of the music you probably listin to is inspired by classic rock  ...Anyways anyone home?

Woodstock 10-26-2004 05:14 PM

I'm here, but with nothing much to say.

BludgeonySteve 10-26-2004 05:21 PM

Where are these $9 cds you speak of? The lowest it gets around here is $10 and that's for less-known bands.

Woodstock 10-26-2004 05:25 PM

Creedence Clearwater 10-26-2004 05:27 PM

Sometimess you can pick up good classic rock albums that stores don't respect, I have got a lot of Old Acoustic Dylan very cheap.

magicbus 10-26-2004 05:40 PM
Are you really or are you toying with my young undeveloped mind?
RockAndRoll 10-26-2004 07:03 PM

BludgeonySteve 10-26-2004 07:04 PM

KurtCobain2902 10-26-2004 07:12 PM

RockAndRoll 10-26-2004 07:24 PM

I'd like to get some more vinyl, but first I need a good place to set my dad's turn table up.

heh, my dad's is a fairly modern one. It's cool, as well as being a good turn table it has these lights on the side and they spin in neat ways.

Seafroggys 10-26-2004 08:51 PM

I just got a 25% off coupon for Borders, and I can't decide what CD I want to get next.

- Who are You? Who
- Who's Next Who
- Magical Mystery Tour Beatles
- Led Zepplin II Don't remember
- Help Beatles
- Aqualung! Jethro Tull
- Secret Treaties Blue Oyster Cult
- Master of Puppets Metallica

I doubt I can get Secret Treaties at a place like Borders, but I can't really decide (this is my b-day list :) )

Spectrum 10-26-2004 08:53 PM

I know that Who are You? is a classic alongside Who's Next, Magical Mystery Tour is a great one, as is Help, and the rest I don't know about (I don't know them as well).

BludgeonySteve 10-26-2004 09:00 PM

After all of those albums get Jeff Healey- Hell to pay. You will not regret it.

I think Who Are You is mediocre.

RockAndRoll 10-26-2004 09:30 PM

I like who's next more than who are you.

I would get Aqualung, just because most of those other cds have a lot of songs you can hear on the radio (if you have a classic rock station) i have barely heard any tull on the radio except the song Aqualung itself.

lunch998 10-27-2004 12:47 PM

Who's Next is miles ahead of Who Are You. Aqualung is really good too.

jpj 10-27-2004 02:19 PM

Aqualung, you will get it and you will like it!
