Ah, shit, I should've double checked on that. I just noticed that I didn't have it, I remember having it, but I can't seem to find it on my pc, sry.

FatalEnergy 08-20-2005 04:55 PM

Picked up Deadly Lullabies Live by King Diamond, The first two Annhilator albums, and the godly Seventh Son of a Seventh Son today

I've got $20 left and that's going to my Inventor of Evil import, since it's not in America until October

Quick question to all you thrash goons, i've been listening to a few overkill songs these days, not sure which albums there from though, i've already got horrorscope, but don't know where to go from there! Any recommendations?? Also anyone know much about the badn "Canivore"?, again i've heard some stuff which sounds decent, know nothing about them though!

well, since you've got Horrorscope, just go from that, back. So, go find "The Years of Decay"

goonboy175 08-20-2005 06:20 PM

Ok will do, guessing the older stuff is the best then? Whats the newest album like? Relix, or whatever it's called? Thanx

get Taking Over and Years of Decay for Overkill.

Carnivore are ok, nothing spectacular.

goonboy175 08-20-2005 06:24 PM

Ok, thanks for the help! Also, sorry to be pain, but another question, I mentioned a while back on here about a band "Laaz Rockit" and that I couldn't find anywhere to buy the albums, still can't, but i've managed to download it instead. Anyway one know any websites that may have the front and back covers to this band's albums?

FatalEnergy 08-20-2005 06:27 PM

Go to Metal-Archives.com, you'll find just about anything you want there

metal-militia 08-20-2005 06:27 PM

Metal Archives and Bnr will have the covers... i'm not sure about the back though, sorry.

goonboy175 08-20-2005 06:28 PM

Ok, thank you again for the help etc etc, will have a look!

FatalEnergy 08-20-2005 08:13 PM

I've always heard that Annihilator wasn't that good at all, so I stayed away from them for the longest time. I just bought a Alice in Hell/Never Neverland two pack and I find it to be pretty solid. I wonder why no one really likes them

MAthiAS 08-20-2005 08:16 PM

I like em...

Must be the over-ratedness people can get from them :upset:

I think they're a good band. I wonder what the new album is going to sound like o.o

Jeff says "pure ****ing thrash".

metal-militia 08-20-2005 08:44 PM

First one is good, second is ok, but after that they turn quite ****.

I don't know any websites, but they rule. I saw them live at Thrash Against Cancer, and they ruled the show.

Apocalyptic Raids 08-20-2005 10:25 PM

To the person wanting Overkill, try The Years Of Decay and Under The Influence.

Reilx IV isn't too good in comparising to the other newer Overkill albums. The only album it beats IMO is "From the Underground and Below". For newer Overkill, try "Necroshine" or "The Killing Kind".

RavenousMetalist87 08-20-2005 11:11 PM

Well guys, I'll see you all after 6 days. I'm off to watch some TV and then sleep before I go on the road for 6 hours tommorrow.

DimebagDarrell 08-21-2005 05:38 AM

Annihilator are good..alice in hell is brillaint and never neverland is pretty good [imperiled eyes!] but after that its gets steadily worse the new one is dreadful.

How the hell can the new destruction be out tomorrow! there has been no press for it at all!

Oh, shitty hell. Look at my favorite albums on my sputnik playlist. I'm into less thrash. But don't worry, I still get my dosage every day :)

Apocalyptic Raids 08-21-2005 08:29 AM

Lost and Found Records, and independent website that previously specialized in offering European imports of classic metal to customers in the states (not to mention selling quasi-rare items on e-bay) have decided to start their own record company. Instead of releasing music from new bands, they're devoting their time exclusively to reissuing OOP metal classics from the 80s.

Their first release is the thrash classic A HIGH FORM OF KILLING from the "Thrashville Tennnessee" act Intruder. Such an underrated band, and a great album to boot... Support this release and they'll get around to reissuing some other rare material in the future (Toxik reissues? Maybe...).

No release date yet but it's coming out in September... just thought I'd give people here the heads up, because here's a bunch of guys who are trying to do something great for fans of classic metal out there and I want to see them be successful... that, and I want more rare albums, so get your wallets out!

Toxik re-issue!!! *faints*

RCA 08-21-2005 06:33 PM

Everybody needs to be raving about the new Heathen, as it will own the new Destruction and Exodus put together.

FatalEnergy 08-21-2005 06:53 PM

With Lee in Exodus, the new Heathen probably won't be out for a while

RCA 08-21-2005 06:56 PM
With Lee in Exodus, the new Heathen probably won't be out for a while
I know this, but it will still own the other two albums.

Terrorzone 08-21-2005 08:27 PM

I'll bet you 2 pesos Exodus will own all, followed by Heathen.

MAthiAS 08-21-2005 09:16 PM

Alright guys, how worth it is an 8 hour drive and/or 2 hour flight and long, long, long, long, long waits and ridiculous prices for Space Mountain? I could go to Disneyland, but I hear from my brother that it was unbelievably crowded in fucking November last year.

Terrorzone 08-21-2005 09:27 PM

Space Mountain is a awesome ride. If you have't been on it, yes. Or you could go to Six Flags. Thats better methinks.

MAthiAS 08-21-2005 09:36 PM

Well I've been to Six Flags out here (Great Adventure), so I'm afraid Space Mountain won't be that great of a thrill... at least not worth the time/money/aggrivation of getting on it.

The Six Flags near San Francisco sucks.

Terrorzone 08-21-2005 09:44 PM

Yeah, just for that one ride may not be worth it. Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion had some of the fastest rides I have ever been on, but thats on the other side of America. The cool part

Apocalyptic Raids 08-21-2005 09:50 PM

So I was at my local Library today, and in the CD section I saw none other than Coroner's R.I.P. :amaze:, although I already have that album. I did end up borrowing Death's The Sound Of Perseverance and Leprosy.

MAthiAS 08-21-2005 10:08 PM

Which side is that?

I need things to do on the west coast dammit!
