this is the only girl im dealing with.... i truely love her. i've been going through alot of bull ****... it doesnt make sense at all to stick around, but i cant help it. *shrug*... i have hope we'll be back together. I've actually be going through a pretty rough time this past week+... lost my band, my girl, job isnt so hot, almost died today, hah...... i dunno. been pretty rough for me, not having anything to really keep me motivated to deal with things.... been listening to All That Remains alot... "I've never hurt so bad but im not falling, im not broken yet. I've never hurt so bad but i hold tight to my beliefes" "Air that i breathe" - ATR They're playing in Cincy tonight w/ Killswitch engage.. so pissed im not goin -sixner
Yeah, good luck with all of that, and sorry about your shit week. Still don't understand why you would want to listen to All That Remains, though. :p I saw them live two years ago, and the way they act just pissed me off. It is a good thing that Dying Fetus and GWAR played that show as well. Man, that ruled. |
I just feared for the welfare of my bass more than I ever had in the past.
For a few weeks now, one of the wires (going from the volume pot to the input jack) has been broken, it's not longer attached to the input jack. I still get along fine with it like this, as long as it stays touching the input jack, it doesn't give me any troubles and I can still play plugged in. Anyway, about 30 minutes ago I plugged in and I couldn't get my bass to work. Crap. I took of the control plate and my first order of business was to strip the wire so I could wrap it around one of the pieces of the input jack so that it would still be touching and still work. Once this was done, it still didn't work. Every once in a while, but very rarely, only two or three times, a note would sound and then get cut off. I had no clue what was going on. All the wiring looked right, but it just wouldn't work. Because I had heard notes sound, I completely disregarded the fact that maybe I needed to change the battery. So, just a few minutes ago, right before giving up, I decided to try switching the battery with a new one, see if it made any difference, even though I didn't expect it to. So I put the new battery in, plug in... it works! Hooray! I'd seriously kill myself tonight if I wasn't able to play. Tonight sucks and I need my bass. |

My friend has this notebook full of these letters that his ex had written him, and he said that it would be fine if I burned it. Anyway, I lit it on fire, and the flames kept changing colours because of all the different types of ink that was used. I was so entertained. |
I saw a show on that tour.

Well I am not going to pull teeth or anything, but if you want the literal meaning of it. It's the TRD supercharger for my Corolla.
Sorry if that kills it for you Trumpeter. |
I realized that much. :p
It just would have sucked without sound and probably not even been worth it.
Yeah, playing bass without any sort of amplification just isn't worth it, and it kind of just ruins the whole point in playing. I mean, I sometimes play without amplification, but it just isn't as fun. |
i dont like bury your dead.
*shrug* to each their own though sweet. when? where? how? ect... -sixner
After a concert in Boston, they were just outside on the street, I was like "DUDE! ITS KILLSWITCH!" and they were like "hey" and then we talked about music for a while. |

i play without it all the time.... at my house, i cant usually amplify because of my parents usually being around. so just go unplugged most of the time. i like it personally. -sixner |
i dont like bury your dead.
*shrug* to each their own though -sixner
I also don't like Bury Your Dead because their drummer, Mark Castillo, was the drummer for Between The Buried and Me on their album The Silent Circus. So, he went from playing extremely good music to extremely shitty music |
