Amen. I could listen to that song for hours on end.

Chu 04-06-2006 05:10 PM

Pfft, you got it all wrong.

Mustaine makes KIMB brilliant

superflyjojo 04-06-2006 05:15 PM

The riffs in Loved To Deth make me orgasm.

Edit:

NP: Loved To Deth

Yep just as I thought, I need to pants.

yea yea, i love the whole album, such a brilliant debut. Rattlhead is my msn name and my name for other forums. i asked to have my name changed to it at one point in the "come her for account changes/merges" thread, but it hasn't happened.

He just takes a while.

Chosen Ones is my favourite on that album.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-08-2006 09:27 PM

Chosen Ones is also my favourite off KIMB.

FatalEnergy 04-09-2006 12:22 AM

The Skull Beneath the Skin is my favorite off KIMB. It's an under rated album, it's hardly ever mentioned.

Bazarov 04-09-2006 12:23 AM

The riffage in that song is quite good. Though, I still like Looking Down The Cross more than any other song on that album. And I'm sure this will change, seeing that every song on that album has been my favorite at one time or another.

Yeah.

Bazarov 04-09-2006 02:58 AM

Oh yes, that song is great. Best part of it after the first verse. That thing going on with guitars. It's great.
Rattlehead makes KIMB brilliant.
I know you aren't a fan of thrash, or is that starting to change now?

Riva 04-09-2006 04:30 AM

I think Ollie has always liked Megadeth.

Jev 04-09-2006 05:17 AM

Yeah Ollie's been a reg in here for ages.

Lord Abortion 04-09-2006 09:07 AM

Yeah, Megadeth are the only thrash band I consistantly love.
Dekapitator and so on too.

I like some of Anthrax, Slayer and Metallica's stuff, and I am getting slowly into more heavy thrash styles.

I really like the beginning to that song. But My favorite is Looking Down the Cross

Jev 04-09-2006 09:54 AM

With KIMB I can't chose a favourite. I think i can but end up chosing half the album.

Bazarov 04-09-2006 09:58 AM
I think Ollie has always liked Megadeth.
Yes, I know that, but I thought he only liked them from Countdown and upwards.

This good to hear.

Out of topic... When was the Holy wars version with Chris Poland recorded?
Out of topic... When was the Holy wars version with Chris Poland recorded?
I wasn't aware there was one. wait. is it the new one on the greatest hits cd?

Jev 04-09-2006 12:05 PM

Are you talking about the demo?
I think that's late 80's. I'll check in the booklet.

pep 04-09-2006 12:18 PM

Yeahm the demo one. It sounds pretty old and the Poland guitar solos arent as good as the Friedman solos.

vashts80 04-09-2006 12:37 PM

My guess for the Holy Wars demo is sometime in '89. Menza was already in, but Dave hadn't found Marty yet, so I'm guessing it was early-mid '89. I honestly like the Poland "synthish" solos better than the recorded Friedman solos, I just think the tone is insanely awesome.

Five Magics 04-09-2006 11:06 PM

has anyone got the new DVD - Arsenal of Megadeth yet?

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2006 11:30 PM

I haven't got it yet. I've seen it in stores though.

am thinking about getting it but i always buy somthing else with my money...

Lord Abortion 04-10-2006 06:02 AM

I don't really want to much...it's not like it's a full concert.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-10-2006 06:06 AM

I always feel with DVDs like I would be better off with an album. I never really watch them often.

GenuineImitation 04-10-2006 09:19 PM

Im going to get the DVD as soon as I get Maiden's Death on the Road which I have been meaning to get for awhile now.

Whats on the Megadeth DVD if its not a full concert?

Bazarov 04-10-2006 09:32 PM

I'm the same way. I've had the Rude Awakening DVD for almost a year, and I've only watched once.
