Heh. Probably Dunlop Crybaby, or Morley Dual Bass Wah.

fatbandit 04-06-2005 08:27 AM

I'm not sure? I just want one that is real quality, and I know he has a quality pedal!

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:14 AM

I just checked his site. He does use a Morley Double Bass Wah.

Spaceman Spiff 04-06-2005 09:22 AM

Ba dum dum dum dum .

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:36 AM

Well this is thrilling...

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:37 AM

What's the shipping cost likely to be on a 3.3 lbs pedal from the US?

morpcat 04-06-2005 09:38 AM

Really really depends on who ships it. Get a rough zip code and you can use a FedEx or UPS calculator.

Spaceman Spiff 04-06-2005 09:41 AM

"You know they call corn-on-the-cob 'corn-on-the-cob' right? But that's how it comes outta the ground, man. They should call that 'corn.' They should call every other version 'corn-off-the-cob.' It's not like if you cut off my arm, you would call my arm 'Mitch,' but then reattach it and call it 'Mitch-all-together.'" - Mitch Hedberg (RIP)

i recently researched how much postage would be for a bass and i checked those two companies and Postal force (bear in mind this is from the uk not the states) and to anywhere in the world ParcelForce was easily cheaper - UPS was the most expensive - but the slowest they would do it was end of the next working day
UPS is really for businesses - i dont mind waiting a bit longer for PArcelForce48 if it saves me close to £10

fatbandit 04-06-2005 09:47 AM

And is £50 a god value for a Morley Dual Bass Wah (sans shipping)?

fatbandit 04-06-2005 10:16 AM

Okay, it'll cost another £22 (ish, I think?) delivery if I buy it. So it 72 pounds a good price?

peeted 04-06-2005 10:22 AM

yo yo dudes

kilian 04-06-2005 10:28 AM

yo yo niggah

I'm against discrimination, but niggah is more like the R&B niggah 8)

fatbandit 04-06-2005 10:59 AM

Hohum. Morley Dual Bass Wah - 70 ish pounds. Good deal?

Repetition will make somebody notice!

SporKsBaSSisT 04-06-2005 11:06 AM

I think everyone should quit playing their instrument.... guitar, bass, drums, whatever.... and everyone should just play keyboard. You can play anything on a keyboard.

Just imagine a metal band with nothing but keyboards.. one for guitar, bass, drums.....

Thunder Fingers 04-06-2005 11:08 AM

Woho! My computer is back...

That would be fantastic to make one time
Maybe for a talent show at school :D

Thunder Fingers 04-06-2005 11:32 AM

:( i cant make my kazaa lite conect...:(

fatbandit 04-06-2005 11:36 AM

Keyboards can't replicate guitars very well. That's why most MIDIs sound poo when they have guitars in.

And what about the Morley Pedal? 70 pounds. Good buy?

Jamie 04-06-2005 11:45 AM

Eddie: Get youself in my thread ;)

Thunder Fingers 04-06-2005 11:49 AM

oyoy?!

*goes lookin*

fatbandit 04-06-2005 11:55 AM

Nobody knows about the wah then?

Jamie 04-06-2005 11:59 AM

Yep! Ive heard great things about the morley. Alot of people like them more than the Crybaby 105Q (i think thats the model)

Eddie: im waiting for your post in my thread! ;)

Thunder Fingers 04-06-2005 12:04 PM

i have 2!

Jamie 04-06-2005 12:08 PM

Thanks!

It looks like ill be joining the geddy lee club! :D

fatbandit 04-06-2005 12:08 PM

Do great things equate to £70 being a good price though, Jamie? ;)

Thunder Fingers 04-06-2005 12:18 PM

thers quite alot of us now.... and the bass affects me.. as months go by, my style of playing turns more and more away from harris'ish towards Lee'ish.. even me basslines does it, and now im on the hunt for Overdrive... EBS is pretty high on my list... but it have no tone knob.. but ofcourse that can be fixed on the amp or with buying an eq pedal...

Jamie 04-06-2005 12:49 PM

Fat: Yeah! Easily :thumb:

Eddie: :D You should change your username... I love geddy's tone and his overdrive sounds verrry nice indeed. Im wondering what the smooth tones are like on it and whats it like for funk? Can I get a nice punchy finger tone out of it?

Oh and ill probably be sticking some flatwounds on it too, will that spoil its tone?

fatbandit 04-06-2005 12:52 PM

Righto! Its whether I can spend 70 quid or not that is the problem, as its on eBay, I need to commit to it pretty sharpish...

fatbandit 04-06-2005 12:53 PM

What, should he be 'Geddy-the-Trooper'?
