About 1 year and a half ago we had to put my dog down :(. She was only 8 years old and she just randomly got a tumor on on her back and could walk for about a week. :(

I really wish I knew more about Robert Frank. It would make this essay much easier to right, aihmoijha buzzzuhauha.

Kage 10-14-2007 10:40 PM

I'm writing an essay right now that is killing me. I think it's good material, but I've got to find some sources for some of the things I'm saying, which is proving pretty difficult.

Same thing. BUhhhhhh I shouldnt have waited till the last minute for this.

ATM 10-14-2007 10:50 PM

I have a 35 page paper due at the end of the semester that is scaring me.

Tyler 10-14-2007 10:51 PM

My hardest paper doesnt need to be more than 900 words long but I actually find that more intimidating.

Lunch 10-14-2007 10:51 PM

make up the sources

start writing your paper

problems solved

Tyler 10-14-2007 10:52 PM

Knowing that my photography teacher made his living as a professional photographer and not a writer of any sort at least lets me know that I can fill this up with really bloated sentences and get marks for it.

Lunch 10-14-2007 10:57 PM

you're worried about a paper for a photography class?

Tyler 10-14-2007 10:57 PM
you're worried about a paper for a photography class?
yes. it's 20% of my final mark, and this is a required credit (media studies).

Kage 10-14-2007 10:59 PM

The professor for whom I am currently writing this paper will mark me down heavily for bloated sentences and things. He wants it to be really technical and cut-n-dry. I'm doing my best, but I'm also by nature making the writing at least mildly interesting to read. If I lose points for that, fuck it. There's a reason I'm not majoring in a field of academia.

Lunch 10-14-2007 10:59 PM

still man, it's a photography class. Don't worry about the paper

A lot of my classes tend to place 20-30% of the class grade on individual assignments, be they midterms or papers. I guess I've gotten used to it.
You going to Boris tomorrow?
Of course I'm going to Boris tomorrow.

pixiesfanyo 10-14-2007 11:05 PM

according to my kurihara friend they played some songs from sunset notes on an earlier date.

Kage 10-14-2007 11:06 PM

I'm just hoping they play You Laughed Like a Watermark.

pixiesfanyo 10-14-2007 11:11 PM

It isn't on the official setlist.. ;[

Invicta_Veritas 10-15-2007 12:24 AM

I'm having an extremely difficult time narrowing down my presentation on Black Metal to 5-10 minutes (including the playing of a BM song for the class).

Tyler 10-15-2007 12:25 AM

black metal ist krieg

Invicta_Veritas 10-15-2007 12:25 AM

That would be short, but I don't think anybody in my class would know what that means.

I might get docked for lack of effort too.

Tyler 10-15-2007 12:26 AM
That would be short, but I don't think anybody in my class would know what that means.
well the guy who said it didnt know so that's a fair assumption

i am the robots 10-15-2007 12:28 AM

awesome

Invicta_Veritas 10-15-2007 12:28 AM

I've got like 10 pages of history, interviews, and my own thoughts and notes, in addition to Varg's letters and writings, and I have to squeeze it all into like 5 minutes, because the BM song I'm playing is about 5 and that times me out.

Nostalgia 10-15-2007 12:28 AM

Black metal ist schlect.

I'd lose Varg's letters considering Varg is a stupid idiot.

Nostalgia 10-15-2007 12:33 AM

Which writings of his are you reading? I wouldn't take any of his Norse Mytholgoy ones. The only writing of his that I did enjoy was the Burzum story and Progression.

Invicta_Veritas 10-15-2007 01:06 AM

Just his personal accounts and letters of the happenings with Euronymous, the trials, the arsons, and the Mayhem incidents, as well as his own music career.

I've steered away from his Odinist writings, since I'm trying to stick to factual history pertinent to BM.

Tyler 10-15-2007 01:06 AM

I'm almost done this essay! Just another body paragraph and a conclusion.
