Cool, a lot of the mentioned bands I have failed to check out. I recently been digging stuff like The Red Paintings (specifically Walls and other songs like Dead Children) and being really captivated by it.
It's Halloweenish and I feel like something that differs from the usual death/grindy metal sound.

If you're talking Codeine you might as well get into the other slowcore stuff like Red House Painters, Low, Idaho

All these bands have like specific albums that are darker than the others though, like I think RHP is the darkest on their first s/t when they get into the really long songs and Low can be pretty depressing on Things We Lost in the Fire

i think long division is a bit more slow and depressing

i like the feeling that this song is being played in some kitchen where all this activity is taking place so idk i like the tinking being so prominent
