DonMancini 01-08-2005 03:49 PM

Apparently there are floods in england now.

THE WORLD IS TRYING TO MURDER US ALL

Six Foot Revolver 01-08-2005 03:52 PM

There is. It started being really really windy at 4am until about 10pm and has ripped holes in roofs, flooded areas etc.

DonMancini 01-08-2005 04:09 PM

Yeesh :S That's pretty bad.

It's probably all coincidence though.

BludgeonySteve 01-08-2005 04:10 PM

Stupid floods won't get me. I live on the plains! :D

Per Ardua Ad Astra 01-08-2005 07:49 PM

Chat is up.

Joe 01-08-2005 08:05 PM

Six Foot Revolver 01-08-2005 08:39 PM

jpj 01-08-2005 08:42 PM
No, I hate school, but I was only back for 3 days because the flood.
Joe 01-08-2005 08:50 PM

ok im about to get flamed, but a i first heard "while my guitar gently weeps" a few weeks ago. once it was over i was like "holy sh*t! where have you been all my life?!?!?" who else thinks that is an absolutley kicka$s song?

jpj 01-08-2005 08:50 PM

I live in West Virginia, this is our second flood this year.

CaptainWaits 01-08-2005 09:40 PM

No floods where I live

Rasta Rocker 01-08-2005 10:01 PM

I wish we could get out of school, but the our school is higher up than the ohio river is

Rasta Rocker 01-08-2005 10:05 PM

Is glam metal popular anywhere? It's hard enough to find people who play instruments that'll play rock. Most musicians in my area are stoners and play reggae...I love reggae, but that's not the only thing i want to play

gmoneyguy 01-08-2005 10:06 PM

Me....If you look at my Avatar its obvious.

RiceMonster 01-08-2005 11:01 PM

A few years ago, it rained , then forze over all the snow, so everything was covered in ice and you couldn't walk anywhere that wasn't ice. But, my school was still not closed. I swear, Satan could rise up and take over the earth and it still wouldn't be closed.

Bartender 01-08-2005 11:39 PM

So, anyone got a New Year's resolution? Let's hear the, especially the interesting ones.

I said I wasn't going to drink anymore, but then I had another beer.

Quiting pot. Although I only do it about once a month, I want to stop before It becomes a habbit.

BoboTheRagingHobo 01-09-2005 12:08 AM

exercising and getting back in shape. I am extremely out of shape, and I would like to get back into shape once again...

CaptainWaits 01-09-2005 12:24 AM

wat Bobo said...getting in shape, eating better, and im goin through a program now with my firends dad, who's a personal trainer

And I made another resolution that its a bit more personal to myself ;)

Kingofdudes 01-09-2005 12:30 AM

My resolution is to push myself to get better at guitar, increase the number of instruments I play, and possibly do my own cover of the keyboard/guitar parts to Pink Floyd's Echoes.

that's going to be tough, but if you succeed you'll feel really accomplished

Rasta Rocker 01-09-2005 12:43 AM

mine is to get into a band that is as serious as i am about going somewhere

Eleventy 01-09-2005 12:44 AM
So, anyone got a New Year's resolution? Let's hear the, especially the interesting ones.
My resolution is to get my homework done right away every day, and to study for tests. To stop losing my temper at the drop of a dime. To be less opinionated. And finally, to practice at guitar more often.

Eleventy 01-09-2005 12:47 AM
Quiting pot. Although I only do it about once a month, I want to stop before It becomes a habbit.
I'm in your situation buddy, just think of it this way, only do it if it's free.

That's what I've been doing, it cut the habit very strongly, and in the past 3 months I've only spent 10 dollars on it. GO ME!

Rasta Rocker 01-09-2005 12:48 AM

congrats...but does it really help you become more musically creative?

Eleventy 01-09-2005 12:50 AM

Yes, if you play under the influence, you just get into, all the notes and things you can do seem.... more signifigant.... me and my bro and his friends jam out every now and then (they do all the time, me included is like a once every 2 or 3 week thing).

CaptainWaits 01-09-2005 12:51 AM

Picked up some Symphony X earlier today......good stuff, good power metal

Rasta Rocker 01-09-2005 12:51 AM

but even when youre not influenced, does it help with writing
