I see

kitsch 02-10-2012 07:20 PM

thats gotta be either amazing or shit

Haz 02-10-2012 08:22 PM

had a brief skim through it earlier, sounded alright

Patton is fairly inconsistent though he can do some cool stuff from time to time.

Aakon_Keetreh 02-10-2012 11:44 PM

yeah its good stuff

Aakon_Keetreh 02-10-2012 11:48 PM

anybody got any cool rips for me n stuff?

BLUEOmni 02-13-2012 12:16 AM

Ohhh, I love electronic music. Problem is... NOBODY LISTENS TO THE SHIT I DO! "^__^ Guys, if you're looking for some good trance, I recommend TraDeus and Sky Motion. If you're looking for good Happy Hardcore, most of ALiCE'S EMOTiON's stuff is that. If you're looking for mind-blowing, eye gouging, ice cream flavored, omfg my body is metamorphing into clouds, music, I 100% recommend Omni Force Records --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFDiS-XatTM

It's difficult to judge the entire album based off that song, but that one's my favorite. The entire album, Omnifarious, by them is full of different genres.

I love how strong the sounds are. Can't really put it into words, but yeah. The guy speaking in the middle felt out of place, though. Interesting subject, but quite out of place, nonetheless. Anyways, it was good. Personally, I venture more towards trance and happy hardcore... for the emotional impact.

SheenaShiva 02-13-2012 12:44 AM

havent listened to a whole lot of trance, have always preferedd stuff with heavy percussion and sometimes glitch

some psytrance is pretty cool

You should try drum n' bass. Personally, I think this is a fantastic example of drum n' bass --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euD-NdiRjDY&feature=related

If you're interested in trance, this would be the best place to start --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okpzu6VIE3w — Fucking beautiful. This was the first trance release I actually bought. Couldn't resist. Soundlift is remarkable. He actually uses a bagpipe in this song (albeit, it was electronically produced, but still...)

Haz 02-13-2012 12:50 AM

do you like minimal techno and IDM Omni? I gravitate more towards that sort of stuff

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaUuCXuBtTU

Cabaret Voltaire had a cool transition from post-punk/industrial to synthpop to minimal techno

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0h_euq4kSU

can't say i've dug much into trance apart from Hallucinogen, and this KLF song which I love

SheenaShiva 02-13-2012 12:53 AM

Nah, I'm not a huge fan of techno. I do like some, but not a lot. I'll give a couple of your songs a try, though.

Haz 02-13-2012 12:54 AM

BLUEOmni 02-13-2012 12:56 AM

I've heard house before. I love the diversity in the songs. I never invested any time into it, though. You guys have any good house recommendations?

SheenaShiva 02-13-2012 12:56 AM

saw local experimental/noise/atmospheric artists canid and drekka last night. was awesome. they just came back to town after touring in europe. you can tell they've been on tour, they had all their shit together. layers, mixing, and everything just sounded polished.
