hey!!! I got Morbid Saint's 2nd album!!!!!!!!! The bass player of the band sent me the link!!

http://www.pcmdusa.com/ms/ds/ds.htm

it's not as good as "Spectrum" and it's a lot more Death/Thrash, but it's worth a listen

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (more "!'s" for the hell of it)
Thanks for that!

Lock Up Your Children is a re-release of Spectrum of Death or something.

Superpeer: whats that Testament stuff about  Have i missed something here?

I have Forbidden Evil and Twisted Into Form, they are pretty good, but some of the songs on FE have really goofy sounding vocakl delivery.

Souls of Black i reckon.

RCA 04-19-2005 05:40 PM

Yeah, go with Souls of Black.

ThrashHead 04-19-2005 05:47 PM

Any you guys like Forced Entry?
I discovered these guys about a month ago. And I don't know of many people that have heard of them, probably because they only made 3 albums in the late 80's early 90's and now have disbanded. They may not be the best thrash band out there, but they're pretty **** good for a 3 piece band.

Transmetal
Drunkard
Ravage (d/l or buy the "Get Fucking Slaughtered" album as soon as possible)
Hydra Vein
Dorsal Atlantica
Horde of Torment (I've recommended them before, though nobody except Dargon commented)
Korzus

Gah, I missed so much in just one night x_x

The real story behind why is because my crappy *** HP Desktop from about 4 1/2 years ago crapped out on me with a "Windows Protection Error", so I was pissed off like Schmier at Wacken when Mike's amps died, and then I was on my mom's Dell Dimension, but couldn't log in.

Although I got to listen to me metal tunes :)

Anyways, I managed to fix my computer today after about 2 hours and some math with dinner. Now that I've returned, I shall:

-Look into the bands RCA mentioned.
-In response to Vio-lence's post about me getting an M-16 Ammo belt, it's only 30 bucks from StudsandSpikes.com

I can check to see if they ship overseas...I don't know if they do but for sure I'm getting one. All I need are my camoflauge pants from the army store that I can get this Friday.
-I think Low is a very awesome Testament album. Souls of Black doesn't cut it for me x.x
-I shall look into Forced Entry, the Morbid Saint album, and other links.

/end of a long post.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-19-2005 09:07 PM

Searches M-A

Yeah, I got my belt from there, and If I remember correctly they do ship overseas but the shipping is like an unholy amount of $30 or something

I live in America and the shipping was $10 just because it weighs so much, but I must say the belt fucking rules though, I got the nickel/silver whatever one :thumb:

Sweet. How long did it take? Any problems with the delivery?

I might order mine either in May or mid-May. Not too sure o.o;;;

I can't decide to either get the goldish-brass shell with the dark gold/brass tips, or the silver/nickel ones...hmm >_<

RavenousMetalist87 04-19-2005 11:09 PM

An M60 belt or an M16...

Which of the two is the more thrashier o.o;;;

FatalEnergy 04-20-2005 12:10 AM

I got the M-60, because it was cheaper, and they are bigger bullets. The shipping didn't take that long, about 4 days for me, and on the site I think I remember it saying it usually takes about 6 days, I've actually only had for it about 2 weeks, and I already got busted for wearing it at school. All those idiots kids who do school shootings, have to ruin everything for everyone. If it was 1986 and I wore it to school no one would care

RCA 04-20-2005 06:06 AM

Ammo belts. These I must get!

whatduffhuck7 04-20-2005 06:34 AM

i dont know what you guys are talking about.

today on the way to school i listened to Cob hatecrew deathroll and the last song is a slayer cover, silent scream. i really injoyed it. i still like the slayer version better but still good.

Cob also did a good cover of alice cooper's bed of nails. i like that one better than silent scream

We are talking about those belts which are a ring of bullets binded together. They rule.

ThrashMaster27 04-20-2005 07:10 AM

Funny that, I was just looking at the KIMB inlay and there's Dave wearing an Ammo belt. They're a little too out there for me. May not be Metal, but I'll stick with my normal attire thanks! They do look cool though.

I don't know if I'd wear it alot, but I'd like to have one anyways.

GREAT song you're listening to, by the way. :thumb:

ThrashMaster27 04-20-2005 07:46 AM

Yeah, they'd be cool for gigs and such, but I wouldn't wear 'em about the place. Haha, you should have seen this guy at Megadeth. About 50, had leather pants tighter than Coroner wore theres and a leather jacket with "Metal Warriors!" on the back. Real old school.

You can't beat a bit of Priest.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-20-2005 08:44 AM

There were heaps of tight demin jeans and jackets covered in patches at the sydney show \m/

My copy of that CD didn't have the Slayer cover...maybe because I got it from Germany.

I've heard of all of them, but i've only downloaded some Invocator.

Forced Entry are ok, nothing special.

Heres some more good bands:

E-X-E
Hallows Eve
Mandator
Cyclone Temple
Fantom Warrior

I just managed to track down his adress, he's actually the bassist on Spectrum of Death, and he said that this unreleased album was recorded after he left. Honestly, I don't think it comes anywhere near to being as good as Spectrum.

All of those bands you posted are pretty good. I especially like Cyclone Temple. :thumb:

I thought it was pretty good. Mind you Spectrum was amazing... i wish i could find it on CD.
