Thunder Perfect Mind was my first. Swastikas for Goddy and Death In June's Brown Book were a love affair at probably the lowest point of my life, after that I went from the beginning of the C93 discography to the end. Out of their oldest stuff try Dogs Blood Rising, those ambient albums are kind of hit or miss but intriguing nonetheless. Imperium was sort of a turning point, then Christ and The Pale Queens Mighty In Sorrow, Earth Covers Earth, Of Ruine Or Some Blazing Starre and the inmost light trilogy for straighter folksy stuff. Out of the collaborations give Crowleymass and Island with HÖH a shot. I don't know too much about Stapleton but Homotopy To Marie, Spiral Insana and Brained By Falling Masonry are memorable. |
Man, Sopor Aeternis neoclassical darkwave covers of Black Sabbath on the Jekura compilation are two of the most cringeworthy songs i've ever heard.
Rest of the comp is this rather intriguing blend of industrial, synthpop and world music i would recommend |
