What can anyone add to this thread? Here is how discussion starts here: look through your mp3 collection until you find a band that you feel is obscure enough to start talking about here, then ask what people think about them. You'll get about three responses: "they are symphonic!" or "what are their albums called" or "yes i like them too", or something else like that. Then, the conversation deteriorates into what we see at the top of this page, until someone brings up another boring band that noone cares about.

I'm not whinging I'm just saying how it is. And it doesn't really bother me either. I'm happy to waffle on about offtopic crap in this thread - just like everyone else does. If someone wants to bring up a band I'll give my opinion but I'm not going to bring up a band myself, just so that Mark can say 'yeah they're alright' and everything else goes 'cant find them on soulseek'.

Then spend your time on a forum that better suits your interest. If you believe Mark is the only one that knows some black metal then that's fine, whatever. But you're wasting your time just bitching about **** that's been said 100 times over.
