Well, if we discuss the same old bands, everyone flames. If we discuss new bands, people flame.

When new stuff comes out, everyone's happy. What we really need is a tour bus to crash and a whole band to die horribly. That usually brings the kids out in droves.

Dom: Don't merge threads that have polls, polls can't be removed. That's why there is an old community thread hanging around that was never merged because JmE put a poll in it and me and Reiner could only reduce it to two options.

Nothing you can do, except start a new thread. Which is a good idea because of the size of this thread makes it really slow to load. All the other community threads start over after like 5000 posts.

The poll thing isn't too big of a deal. But there can be another one if you guys want.

I was supposed to see Murphy's Law this summer, opening for Rancid. I was so stoked, and then realized Rancid were playing [i]two[/i] St. Louis dates, and the date I was going it was the Unseen opening. I hate the Unseen.

DBoon, in response to your question a few pages back, I can't remember what my old user name was. I think it was a Rancid reference, crossed with a skateboarding reference, but I've had so many forgotten user names and screennames and email addresses that I can't remember which is which.

edit: Weird, if you go to the first page of this thread, I gush about Rancid during some weird game where we name songs with similar words in the title. I don't remember that in the least, but it was a long time ago.

Just close it and start a new one. Who cares. It'll always be archived.
