That's story is a lot less interesting now that you actually said it.

It should have started with -
"It was a lonely, starry night on that fourth day of May..." sort of thing. I'm disapointed.
i know  , but i was asked to elaborate.
Haha..FOI is on live after death...
Oh yeah, but what I meant to say is that they never played it after the World Slavery tour. I know they played it at a faster tempo live, but eventually they just decided to never get it out again.

Oh well, they have plenty of other great songs :)

andyhainey 09-10-2005 02:49 PM

hmmm, ok, blah blah blah, and when all of a sudden a big maiden cd came rushing through the window and hit me on the head, i was unconscious for days and when i woke up on the hospital bed, the cd was there, the nurse walked in and said nuthing. she stared at me as if i wasnt even there. she toke the cd off of my lap and she shouted "MAIDEN!!" and she put the flash of the blade on, and i thought hmmmmmmm

I have Number of the Beast and am trying to decide between Iron Maiden, Killers, Piece of Mind, and Powerslave. Could I get some advice from someone who owns all/most of these albums? Also what would be the best songs to download to sample these albums?(I always download a few songs to see if I want the album)

Lord Abortion 09-10-2005 02:57 PM

Get killers or piece of mind.

crag 09-10-2005 03:00 PM

they are all good albums either way you'll get something good

andyhainey 09-10-2005 03:01 PM

iron maiden or powerslave

Deth 09-10-2005 03:09 PM

Powerslave.

Everyone is going to say something different, so this won't help too much.

andyhainey 09-10-2005 03:13 PM
On Tuesday 13th September Radio 1 will broadcast three songs specially recorded by Maiden at Maida Vale last Friday afternoon, before the band travelled across West London to play the special fund raising gig in aid of The Clive Burr MS Trust at Hammersmith Apollo. The last Radio 1 session Maiden recorded was for Tommy Vance's Friday Rock Show in 1979.

The session, which includes an interview with Bruce, will be broadcast between 7pm-9pm on the Zane Lowe show. You can also listen online via the Radio 1 Website.
