Chuck's voice on Live in LA isn't that great, in my opinion. They do play some of their better songs though.
Yes he does
How's the Death one? I've been looking to add it to my collection of DVDs. I'd say if the CD and DVD are identical, might as well own one >.>
The Death one is great :thumb: I guess I should give a little review of it all. Death - Live.....I don't need to say anymore, it rules. Spriral Architect - Overly progressive and has no catchyness at all, but it makes for an intresting listen, because it's more technical than life itself. Demons and Wizard - It's alright, but the first was better. King Crimson - is....well it's alright, I was somewhat expecting something a bit different, it is from 1969 though. It's kinda hard to get into. oh well..........I need more thrash, it's getting harder for me to get it |
hey guys can someone tell me some good testament cds i just barrowed there dvd of one of my buddies and it was awsome
|
Spiral Architect is far too much wankery for my liking, except when I'm in the mood for that kind of thing.
The bass arrangements and such are amazing though, there is no denying the extreme technicality of that album. I checked out Xentrix a day or so ago and listened to it today, and it's excellent. :) |

It depends how you accept the music. Treat it like a time capsule. That's what I did with my Destroyer 666 CD. 1969 though...hmm...60s rock :D |
Yeah, The whole King Crimson album had 5 "songs", I would say only one was a song. The rest of it was like a guy that kept dropping his drum sticks and........that's about it. One song kept my attention, kind of sad
and that's coming from a guy who really digs Pink Floyd, so you know that the KC is really ....out there |

Get The Legacy and The New Order. |
o.k thanx ive downloaded some of there stuff fromthe album THE GATHERING it doesnt sound the same at but its pretty good i like DNR and True Believer
|
Stay away from Demonic....The Gathering isn't very good, and Low is mediocre. Everything else is pretty good IMO
|
Low > Demonic & The Gatherning
'nuff said  |
so pretty much its all there old stuff thats better?
|
Yeah, Low was much better. It at least had a few good songs on it, while Demonic was pure shit, and The Gathering is wanna-be thrash. Nothing will ever beat "The Legacy".....and yes, I'm one of those few people that like "The Ritual"
|

To me, yes. Face thinks Low isn't so great when I think it is  That bass solo on track 9 pwns everything they've ever done! |
To me, yes.

Alrighty then. Now I can sleep at night  I wonder where Greggie is anyways >.> I might be staying in his home town next week if my mom and sister go up to the East Bay. Funny if I saw him walking around randomly. |
He's actually in Testament right now, because they are still doing the reunion thing. I missed them twice within a week

Gah. That's one thing I wanted to see but didn't seem to have a way or place to see it. |
ah i really like there bass player hes pretty good
|
I met him, very nice and approachable guy. He had his beard at the time and so he kinda reminded me of a muppets character :p I also met Skolnick, but thats another story.
In other news heres the first review of the new Exodus album http://www.rockdetector.com/artist,3108.sm |

Yeah, I noticed that his vocals kind of faded away from the Death element album after album. Symbolic I almost can't listen to cause his vocals pretty much suck in my opinion, but cause of the amazing musicianship it makes up for the bad vox. Oh yeah, I bought Join The Army by Suicidal Tendancies today for a bargain $10AUS...it's alright, not really a great album. I like Rocky George though, he's a great Guitarist. It's not as good as Lights...Camera...Revolution. Miles off infact. NP: Necrophagist - Only Ash Remains |
Yeah the vocals aren't great on Live In LA, although the main problem I have is the drums are too loud and the guitars are to quiet, and lack crunch.

And the snare tone sucked. I wish he would've done the growling on Zombie Ritual... |

In other news heres the first review of the new Exodus album http://www.rockdetector.com/artist,3108.sm
Well......that review was one in Exodus's favor, hopefully it's as good as the reviewer says it is. |
I hope it is as well.
Next HoT: Possessed/Syzygial Miscreancy |
I'm praying.
RCA: Nice, for song suggestions might I suggest The Exorcist and Seven Churches. |
Got it.
/me jots down song suggestions |
/Me thanks
How are Ripping Corpse y Dekapitator? |
At least include one song off of The Eyes of Horror. I would say "Swing of the Axe" or something, even though it dosen't matter much since they are all good.
|
/Me thanks
How are Ripping Corpse y Dekapitator?
Ripping Corpse = one hell of a death metal band, HIGHLY recommended to fans of old-school death and brutal thrash. I base my name off of them too, not just the Kreator song. :p Dekapitator = Fun, fast thrash band. Grab We Will Destroy...You Will Obey if you can find it (I reviewed this album on Sputnik and M-A). They've got a new album in the works.
Include something off of The Eyes Of Horror
What am I, a dolt? You'll definitely see something from that EP. I might even upload the whole thing! :D |
I shall aquire both then. Anyone heard of Voodoocult? They're line-up sounds too good to be true. Are they good?
|
The band with Mille, Dave, and Chuck? Can't say I have. :(
|
I think I have to get it. No one has heard them.
|
I think I have to get it. No one has heard them.
Get it! Then upload a track or two for all of us to hear. :D |
Will do.
