Since I've been here I've actually gotten into some other Bodomesque bands. Kalmah is really good, I hadn't heard about them before I came here. Now that I think about it, I've been influenced by this board. I now listen to Meshuggah, In Flames (more than I used to), Imperanon, Sepultura and whatever other [SIZE=2]s[/SIZE]hit is requested on the YSI thread. :thumb: It's awesome.

Anyways, hello. I went and visited some of my high school teachers this morning, and that made for a good trip. They were all willing to talk for a bit, which was nice. I told some of my stories from uni and they told me about the school year there. Sixteen teachers are retiring at the end of the year, which is a lot, even for a large high school like mine was.

One of my teachers asked me, "If you could change one thing about high school, what would it be?"

I didn't have an answer.

As soon as I sat in the car on the way home, it came to me. So I drove home, wrote this teacher a letter, delivered it, and went home again. It seems a bit open-ended, and now that I think about it, I'm a bit concerned as to what this teacher will do with it. But no matter. I was satisfied with my answer, and if it comes back and bites me in the as[font=]s, then so be it.[/font]

Sort of. Its more like a two-years-early-graduation-present. My grandparents go all the time, (this will be their 4th time) and I'm hitching a ride. Rome, Naples, Pisa, Florence, the works. It'll be cool. I leave in a couple days. I'm hoping to hit a kick [B]a[/B]ss music store, see if they stock any metal I can't get here.

Trust me dude, if I had enough cash to buy Hatebreeder right now, I'd already have it. I have enough songs from it (Silent Night, Bodom Night and Black Widow and the songs off of Tokyo Warhearts) to keep me occupied until I get it.

What's happening folks? I'm in the middle of a super-annoying job search, and my parents threatened last night to cut my hair. I didn't think I was that attached to long hair, but I've spent so much effort growing it that it's just centimeters away from rock n' roll hawtness. I almost cried when they said "You MUST get your hair CUT!"

Otherwise, things are pretty well with me. How are you guys?

My drivers test was one point off for poor judgment at stop signs (I didn't wait a full 3 seconds or whatever at the line and then pulled up so I could see around some cars). I like to drive. I wish I could afford a fast car and the gas to drive it fast.

Cain - I used to hate getting my haircut but then I began to prefer short hair because it looks neater. I hope you get to at least get yours to rawking length.
