The public consciousness is fairly warped for every genre, honestly. At least, if we're talking about your average radio-listening "rock" fan as you guys seem to be. For jazz they think of soft, smooth jazz radio stations and Frank Sinatra, for metal they think of whatever metalcore/numetal band is popular, for folk they think of Damien Rice, etc.

woot, i get to select music for a class assignment due tomorrow :cool:

it has to be "mood" music that relates to scenes in plays we've been reading. i've been looking through the very few instrumentals i have (mostly interludes from albums) and i'll probably use regular songs with long intros (i wont play the whole thing). i dont know why im telling you guys this cause i dont need your help or anything, but there ya go v:)v

dunno, some plays. mostly 20th-century ones like streetcar named desire, virginia woolf, etc
