I just started writing poetry for my band. maybe I should make a MySpace and upload my poetry and then never record any songs because I'm OG as fuck.

what do you think. if we call ourselves twinkle daddies and play stupid rehashmo influenced by MTV emo bands like Sunny Day Real Estate and Weezer, and alternative rock bands like Knapsack and The Get Up Kids instead of actual emo bands, do we have a case?

but how will I drink from that stream, how will my heart sing your praise, how will I lay down in green grass fields; when I'm not part of THE WAVE? and am not a 30yo playing in a band that sounded exactly the same when I started it as a 15yo? when I don't have scream along parts OH LOVER OH LOVER. maybe I'll make super underground OOP references to Morrissey that no one will understand but a handful of really cool kids that will feel like they've found a soulmate in me, and so they'll come to my concerts and perform rhythmic Nike spin kicks.
