Tangy zizzle 10-05-2005 09:01 PM

I havn't been getting into much new music lately. Money sucks. But I have been listening to alot of heavier music. The new Lightning Bolt kills pretty much everything released this year, so damm good.

Luxor 10-05-2005 09:03 PM

^ I should get that sometime soon.

Tangy zizzle 10-05-2005 09:10 PM

You really should. If you're a fan, but it now. If not get another album.

Jawaharal 10-05-2005 10:11 PM

I've been listening to Sgt. Pepper's lonely hearts club today alot since I just found out I had it on vinyl. I also found some ramones live vinyl that I've been liking

Yeah, it is.
I'm listening to songs similar to Boards Of Canada.
Some good stuff.

I'm digging Autechre's Anvil Vapre EP.
Anybody heard that Dangerdoom album yet?
It's lame.

Tomahawk 10-06-2005 01:08 PM

I've been listening to Rust in Peace by Megadeth today. I completely forgot how fecking good that album is.

And I've been working my way through all my CDs, in an attempt to rate them all for RYM. It's a long and arduous process, and I have more bad CDs than I thought.

Sound Boy 10-06-2005 01:37 PM

The fray
We are Scientists
owen
autolux

and yeah the new Dangerdoom is lame...i waited for it and was really let down by it. it was really bland

After seeing the name around here a bit, decided to check out Shpongle.

Good shizzle.

pixiesfanyo 10-06-2005 04:19 PM

It's a Radiohead day.

NineBitFable 10-06-2005 04:58 PM

Hawkwind-Orgone Accumuliator

GREAT song.

Bartender 10-06-2005 05:09 PM

RYM is telling me I'd like Tortoise. Can anyone recommend them?

Happymeal 10-06-2005 05:15 PM
RYM is telling me I'd like Tortoise. Can anyone recommend them?
I've heard some songs from TNT before and they were pretty good, you'll like 'em if you're looking for post rock that's not "dramatic". I just got Millions Now Living Will Never Die awhile ago. So far "Glass Museum" and "The Taut and Tame" are some good starter songs.

Tangy zizzle 10-06-2005 05:52 PM

Tortoise are cool, but they get boring. If you want something like Tortoise, but cooler and more varied then get some Stereolab in ya'.

Wow, best song ever = Imogen Heap - Hide & Seek. Imagine Bjork covering Alanis Morrisette with only voice and slight synths. It's possibly the most emo(tional) song I've ever heard. Orsum.

Hey, everyone!

Go to http://www.saosin.com and vote for Forever Wings Fold as the band to open for them in the column on the right side of the page, please, and we'll love you forever. This is really important to us, and please tell all of your friends to vote for us, too.
- Forever Wings Fold.

Oh my ****ing goodness. Please, guys vote for them and I shall love you forever, too. I know the drummer to the band and they're pretty effing good and they're in love with Saosin. Check out their music at http://www.myspace.com/foreverwingsfold. They are completely awesome. Please, guys, vote for them and tell all of your friends to vote for them and to spread the word, as well. ALL OF THEM! Please, and thank you. Voting ends on the 7th, so hurry! Oh, and friend pointed out to me that you could vote twice if you use two different computers. Another friend also told me that if you delete your cookies after each vote, you can vote a few more times - don't push it, though, because the I.P. address is still the same and they may get suspicios.

Adios, and thanks again! :thumb:
