That's actually a legit statement. I've met many rednecks in my time, and the few intelligent ones I've come across were some of the most intriguing individuals I've ever met. They always have the best stories.

One of my friend's dads is kinda like that. I could sit and listen to him tell stories all day, and my friends and I have even considered making a d0cumentary about his life. He's rich as **** too (pretty sure he was a big time coke dealer back in the day), but he lives like he's below the poverty line.
