Yeah, AvA is awesome, just not so awesome people are gonna go absolutely crazy about.

Plus 44 hasn't leaked or anything so far, which is building up a bit of hype. And because of the song No It Isn't and the amount of good feedback it's had etc it's looking like Plus 44 has lots of potential.

Get Fighted 04-30-2006 07:36 AM

AVA were amazing live but they only played five songs  As soon as Tom came on stage everyone went crazy.

Ross 04-30-2006 07:53 AM

5 songs? rofl.

Get Fighted 04-30-2006 08:09 AM

Actually it was 6,

Valkyrie Missile
It Hurts
Distraction
Down/ The Adventure
Do It For Me Now
The War

It might be in that order, cant remember exactly. I managed to sneak into standing easily . Before they played The War (last song of the night) i was shouting "Play The Gift!" and i was crowd surfing before they played Valkyrie Missile.

EDIT: Having looked at some review thingy i remembered they did not play Do It For Me Now.

FauxApathy 04-30-2006 08:11 AM

I cannot stand AVA. The Plus44 song is very good, I'm looking forward to hearing more of that.

I knew this was going to happen. As soon as I heard they both had new bands, I knew I was going to love Mark's and hate Tom's. Tom is the suck.

2muchket! 04-30-2006 10:03 AM

That used to be my favourite song of Enema, now I can't stand it. Same with Dysentary Gary.

Dead Star 05-02-2006 04:10 AM

I'm not the only Scottish person here?

poo-poo-pee-pee 05-02-2006 06:08 AM

Does anyone know what the astonauts are saying at the begining of Valkyrie Missile? Or where I can find out?

So far all I've got is:

"Can you hear me out there? I can hear you."
"I've got you, I can hear you, over."
"Blah blah blah, strange."
"I wanna wish for something new." ???
"This is the scariest thing I've ever done in my life."
"Who do we think we are?"
"We're Angles and Airwaves."
Etc, etc.
Or something along those lines...

Help me... Please?

16 Nipples 05-02-2006 10:09 AM

Correct. Im from Edinburgh :chug:

Bad Blood 05-02-2006 10:21 AM

Lol, Scots.

Edit:
Rikki, one of our friends on MySpace met Mark Hoppus at Travis' DC Shoe Signing Party in Corona, CA.

"He mentioned that Travis and he were in the studio the night before and that he had the album in his ipod and that it is expected to drop in October!"

Now both Mark and Travis have said to expect in October.
So yeah, October it is then.

Bad Blood 05-02-2006 01:48 PM

Interesting fact right here:

Tom made the intro to Start The Machine playing on his kids' toy piano whilst "sitting" in his bathroom, haha.

Get Fighted 05-02-2006 01:51 PM

And he bought it at a toy shop next to the ice cream parlour where he takes Ava.

Im such a fanboy :upset:

Bad Blood 05-02-2006 01:53 PM

Haha, my mate just told me. He's the biggest fan boy I know.

form 05-02-2006 02:33 PM

Stockholm Syndrome is tied for the best Blink song for me.

I wish more of the choruses were like the one in SS.
