Sometimes this album has very Shins-like sounds and sometimes the production feels ripped from My Morning Jacket's very recently released [i]Z[/i]. So - besides being ultimately derived from very recent sources, it's still a decent record overall. It probably won't "change your life", but it's nice.

That's a great band. They opened for Iron & Wine last year, and I loved their live show.
