Very late.

So, how is everybody's day?

Mekkalayakay 12-12-2004 01:17 AM

Ethan is one of my favorite internet guys. Yeah, his internet has been dead/gone for 2-3 months now. :-/ I have no idea why.

Trust me is okay. I go there when mx isn't working properly. What I like about it: You can have serious discussion there that you could never have in the Pit.

Other than that, this place is much better.

And Eric is a very good guitarist. A long time ago, I saw a video of him playing one of the solos in Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt 1

Amazing stuff.

Kingofdudes 12-12-2004 01:17 AM

My day has been meh. Well im gonna go sleep, later

Ramsey 12-12-2004 01:17 AM

Eh, pretty uneventful. I listened to Pantera all day, and now i'm listening to "Floods" by them.

OH, I also saw Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story.

ITs funny, but not as funny as people made it out to be.

I keep forgetting to go there :-/ And then I feel bad because Spiral'll ask me about something, and I have no idea what he's talking about.

I saw it with some friends on my last day living in Virginia. The thing about the movie is that all the funny parts were on the commercials.

That film's pretty low down in my "to watch" list. It didn't really look that great. The Incredibles on the other hand, is brilliant.

BoboTheRagingHobo 12-12-2004 01:21 AM

/Wonders who Eric is...

xizoesira 12-12-2004 01:21 AM

I worked on a project today, and, uh...

Boring day.

Ahghghghgh, once I'm done with all this work I can drown myself in Worlds of Warcraft.

I watched it because I was alone with the film. I never rented it though, my brother did...

However, I have not seen the Incredibles or in fact Shrek 2.

Riva 12-12-2004 01:21 AM

I know. Everyone should see Team America: World Police. Very funny in some parts.

Ramsey'll get a kick outta their use of Arabic. :p

Litnin.

EDIT: Just remembered, he's now known as Moniker.

Mekkalayakay 12-12-2004 01:22 AM

Anybody ever watch Saved? That is another one of those movies where all the funny parts are in the commercial.

It's still quite funny though if you like imitation christian jesus humor.

Right?

Edit: Right.

I need to see that too

Mekkalayakay 12-12-2004 01:23 AM

The Incredibles was awesome.

I still haven't seen Shrek 2 or believe it or not, Finding Nemo :( (which I've heard is one of the funniest animated movies in quite some time) but I don't know whether to believe friends or not

But a girl invited me over to see it sometime, so I think I'll hold off from watching it until then. ;)

Another thing that pisses me off about the Pit lately (yeah yeah I know stfu), is the shallowness. What reminded me, is that 033 listed you in her list. Now, I ignore it, and I don't care, but has the pit gone that far down? Thats really shallow...I mean, its pretty sad.

Granted, i've made quite the amount of Circlejerk threads in my day, I still haven't stooped that low...

Riva 12-12-2004 01:27 AM

Can someone explain the term "Circle-jerk" to me? I never quite grasped it...

Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo are both well worth seeing too, but I wouldn't say as good as The Incredibles. Especially in the animation..the Incredibles animation was just unbelievably good.

Ramsey 12-12-2004 01:29 AM
Can someone explain the term "Circle-jerk" to me? I never quite grasped it...
A circle jerk thread would be an award thread or something like "List the users you like" etc.

Circle Jerking taken literally is everyone sitting in a circle and jerking each other off, hence the idea behind the threads.

Mekkalayakay 12-12-2004 01:30 AM

All the who's hottest threads are lame. And the comments Spkiey and 033 made about you pissed me off.... I already hated Spikey, but 033... I used to like her.

Regardless, how can you not have feelings, internet or not? If someone insulted me personally, or mocked me because of my looks/actions on something, I would obviously get mad/upset. Everybody would. And I don't see how they can't understand that.

Ahhhhh...

From what I can tell of seeing him post in the pit as of late that hes a douchebag...

Riva 12-12-2004 01:32 AM

So, we agree that Paranoidd was foolish to abandon R&M for the merciless idiocy of the Pit? :)

Who made Incredibles? Pixar? That was incredible indeed. Even if you don't animate it, the detail is amazing. Just look at PDWAB's avatar.

And how what's his name runs across the water...

It's too bad the comedy didn't hit me in that movie, but the plot and theme was awesome.

Ramsey 12-12-2004 01:33 AM

Hell, I agree.

eating cupcakes and watching arabs get shot

Now that was shallow.
