does anybody know how 2 get piano tabs?

Paranoidd 09-27-2004 03:07 PM

Google.

There are no need for piano tabs, you can get straight notation.

Werewolves of London is awesome :). I thought that the dead wrote it, until now. You learn something every day in the good ol' CRT.
I've noticed kids only liking popular and well known Classic Rock bands, like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, ect...

They missout on some of the greatest lesser known Classic rock bands. Like The Byrds, or Buffalo Springfield, Big Brother and Holding Company, The Velvet Underground, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Van Morrison, ect. Most of those bands were pretty big in their day, but the kids these days aren't looking for those bands. Usually, they are looking for the heavier, or louder types, but that's only the kids I know.
Ive heard alot about the Velvet Underground, what do they sound like? would like to know before I buy any of their albums.

Badmoon 09-27-2004 04:26 PM

Ok. Let's see.

The Byrds
When first having been shown 'Light My Fire', the keyboardist declares: "It sounds like the byrds".
And that's all I have to say about that.

Buffalo Springfield
Never Heard of 'em.

Big Brother and Holding Company
Never Heard of 'em. :p

The Velvet Underground
Of course I know about these guys - they rule.
:)

Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young
They played at woodstock.

Van Morrison
Yeah I know them.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-27-2004 05:16 PM

You guys post too fast :(

What's been going on recently since my last post?

NO, I will not read :p

BludgeonySteve 09-27-2004 05:26 PM

Buffalo Springfield is a slightly more rock-ish CSN&Y. It had Young and Stills in it. I'm not sure about the others.

I sooo can't tell you're a Lennon fan.

*Me too.

BludgeonySteve 09-27-2004 07:15 PM

It's almost His 64th birthday :) i'm going to listen to his solo albums and break a jazz record (a crappy one most likely) in celebration.

gmoneyguy 09-27-2004 07:16 PM

I'm going to pick up legends tomorrow.

RockAndRoll 09-27-2004 07:17 PM

why break a jazz record?

BludgeonySteve 09-27-2004 07:20 PM

Because Lennon hated Jazz. And Lennon>Jazz.
