As for cops, they don't prevent crime, they help punish criminals. And that's only when they're not slamming your face into the street for protesting. Cops may have started out protecting the people, a thousand years ago, but now cops exist to protect the money.

I kept trying to phone to talk to Chuku about sorting out my timetable, and it's been a week and a half now and I lost the number, so I've given up on it. Besides which I've hated it there, and I'll probably be getting a bookshop job soon, in a small independent bookshop no less, so I'm happy to quit.
